Kage had left Chase a message to meet him at the bowling alley. It might have been strange at first because neither Johnny nor Kage knew how to bowl but they needed to get out before they ended up burning down their dorm room. Kage made sure he had brought his camera with him just in case he decided to take pictures. Photography was something Kage did when he was alone or with close friends. Chase, Ethan, and Bree were the only ones who knew about Johnny and about Kage loving photography and sketching people.

Kage sat patiently on a table, eating a plate of fries while waiting. He was bored and there was no one else Kage could ask out. Ethan was with Bree and he didn't want to bother them. So Chase was next in his list of people since the first and third were probably together so he didn't even have to think about asking them.

Chase was surprised but happy when he got the text from Kage asking to go to the bowling alley. He might have asked Brent to come with him... but they weren't exactly out with their relationship yet, and Chase wasn't sure Brent was okay with anyone knowing. Not even one of Chase's closer friends. Instead, Chase texted Brent and told him he would be gone for the night, and that he should grade papers or something productive. Like that was going to actually happen...

He entered the bowling alley looking for him. It didn't take long to spot him sitting at the table. Chase smiled and walked over to him, sitting down across from him and stealing a fry. "H-hey, you."

Kage was nearly bored out of his mind when Chase came. He looked up and smiled straight at him like a kid receiving an early Christmas gift. "Chasey!!! You're finally here!!! Ethan and Bree-Bree left me alone and Johnny won't even trade places with me!!" he whines as he pulled a chair out for Chase. He had been bored for the last week that he had been skipping classes and walking around the whole school, taking pictures of random things he wanted and sleeping under trees.

"I would have gone to The Gateway but I didn't want to be drunk at two in the afternoon so that idea was out. If I play another song on Sophia, she might grow and mouth and yell at me to stop playing her..." Kage explained as he took a frie and ate it.

He laughed at Kage when he whined to Chase about being bored and Ethan and Bree being busy. Yeah... Pregnant girl and her boyfriend were normally busy with each other. Chase understood that, but it didn't help being less bored. "W-well I don't mind coming out h-here. I wasn't going to do much a-anyways."

[/b] If not doing much meant going and bugging Brent. Chase took another fry without thinking about it. Chase was comfortable enough around Kage. He trusted that Kage wasn't going to do something bad or whatever. Chase was more comfortable around Brent, but he wasn't uncomfortable right now.

Kage wondered where Chase had been hanging around the pass few days. "I was meaning to ask you.. Well, Johnny wanted to ask you... Where have you been the last few days? Even Ethan and Bree-Bree has noticed that we don't see you around much..." Kage asked in a passive tone. He didn't really care much as long as Chase was happy. Kage ordered a set of burger and fries with coke for himself and Chase. He looked around and saw that there weren't much people at the alley but it wasn't nearly empty as well.

"Hmmm.. There aren't much people around today.." he pointed out the obvious. Kage was indeed bored.

Where was he? Oh Kage, Chase couldn't tell you that even if he wanted to. He had been around of course. One night he went to Brent in the middle of the night. He had spent the afternoon in his own dorm with Brent as well. He was in the forest with him, and in the music room, and a lot of places, really. But... Kage couldn't know about that. It was a secret. "I've been doing homework in the forest. It's peaceful there and I-I like it."

Kage tilted his head and smiled. "Cool...I have been skipping classes lately so I don't know about homework... School has been boring lately that going to class is getting a bit boring." he said as he ate another frie. The waiter came back and gave them their food. "I don't believe him Kage. Look at Chase. His nervous." Johnny said from the inside.

Kage wondered why Johnny didn't believe Chase. Chase would never lie. Right? "Oh, Chasey... Johnny said he doesn't believe you... I don't know why but he said you were." Kage said as he took a bite of his burger.

Chase had been skipping a lot of classes as well. But that was for different reasons than what Kage was skipping for. Chase literally didn't like being around so many people. He thought it had worked out well. When he skipped before, he happened to run into Brent and that's where they had their first real kiss.

He had originally thought he was safe from the questions until Johnny had to ruin it. Chase tried to just remain calm. "Why would I be lying? It's not like I have anything to lie about..."

Kage nodded in agreement with what Chase said. "I know right... I told him that there was no reason for you to lie to me." he said as took another bite of the burger. He wonder why Johnny even thought about it. "Don't let Johnny's words get to you. His just trying to ruin someone's day since he is bored as me but lazier cause he would get out." Kage said as he shrugged.

Kage sat there, looking around. "Did you hear about the new bar manager? Everyone said that theres a fifty dollar bonus for some reason. I havent gotten the whole news yet." Kage said. He was clueless which was opposite Johnny who noticed everything.

Problem diverted very well, Chase thought with a smile. He did exactly what he was supposed to do even though he wanted to tell Kage about Brent. He just... just not yet. It wasn't time for others to know about Brent and him yet. He wasn't ready for it, Brent wasn't ready for it. He would just have to deal with it. "No, I hadn't heard about it, but I don't pay attention much. I show up for work and that's about the extent to what I do there."
