Kage wanted to protest when Chase took his burger. "Chasey!! There was a reason I bought two burgers you know." Kage said with a pout. He took back his burger and gave Chase the other one. "Well, that fifty dollar bonus sounds sweet you know... Oh by the way, have you been in Professor McKinney's class lately? I heard that his acting a bit strange lately. I don't know how strange but they say his strange."

Kage wondered why everyone was acting strange the last few days. It was as if everyone was being possessed or something. He feared change, the kind of change that happens too fast for everyone to catch on.

Chase laughed at Kage's protests. Chase didn't want a full burger. He just wanted a bite and therefore figured it would be easier if he just stole a bite of Kage's. "I'm not hungry enough for a full one."

[/b] Chase explained with a grin that soon after faded due to the change of conversation topic. That... wasn't good. Don't mention him. Don't talk about Brent. That wasn't something Chase needed. "I don't t-take business study. S-so n-no I haven't seen B-M-McKinney."[/b] Did Chase almost say Brent? He thought maybe he had caught himself before actually saying it... he just hoped Kage or Johnny wouldn't notice.

Kage tilted his head and shrugged it off. "Ok then." he said with a big smile on his face. "And next time Chasey, just tell me you want a bite..." he said with his mock pout. He continued to east his burger. "Let's not talk about that professor... He creeps me out whenever I pass him by... I know his a fire fae like me. I can smell it on him. But his not a pure fire fae like me." Kage said with a tone that said he was confused but didn't care.

"So, what are we gonna do this Friday? We've never really played new songs lately and I think we need new ones or everyone will hate us soon." Kage said as he turned and saw a kid smiling with his candy. Kage took a photo of it and smiled. The small moments in life that make the bigger moments happier.

Chase just laughed it off, his smile not really staying again as Kage was talking about Brent again. Chase felt the need to defend him. "Brent is part siren too. And he's nice... it's not like he's mean or anything."[/b] Chase blurted out, not realizing what he said until it was too late. "I-I mean from what I've heard."[/b] He muttered and took a drink to keep his mouth occupied. "And yeah... uhm. N-New music sounds good."[/b]

Kage was in his happy land when Chase suddenly blurted out things that Kage didn't even understand. "Huh? Chasey? Are you feeling ok?... Hold that thought. Johnny wants to talk to you..." Kage said and in a blink of an eye, a smirk came into the face of Chase's present companion.

"Chase, Chase, Chase... That is some defense coming from someone who doesn't know McKinney personally. Are you sure that you don't know him at all? Because the way you just defended his honor was outstanding. Kage maybe stupid when it comes to this things but I'm not... Johnny said with a smirk and he leaned a bit closer to Chase.

No... Kage was... he was okay. Chase could handle trying to get past Kage when it came to things like this, but Johnny wouldn't be so easy and what Chase said probably sounded exceedingly sketchy. He took a sigh and then another drink because when he was nervous he almost always needed to be doing something with his hands. He started picking at his fingernails once more. "I-I'm positive. I don't know him. O-only through others, of course. I-I've o-only talked to him l-like o-once."

Johnny had to laugh. Chase was a bad liar. A very bad liar. "Chase you know that you were lying very bad right?" Johnny said as he leaned back on his seat. "But... just this once, I won't pry... It's the least Kage and I could do... However, if something bad happens to you and it involves that man, Kage and I will burn him and Ethan would drown him as well... Whichever comes first." Johnny said and went back.

Kage came out with a smile. "I knew Johnny was going to do that... But I agree with him. If ever he does something to you, he will face me, Ethan, and Bree-Bree... And others too." Kage said and smiled widely at Chase

He nodded though, before saying "If you want to think there's something between us... or that he has anything to hurt me about, then fine. But I swear, I don't even know him."

Kage rolled his eyes, "Chasey, Johnny will forever think your lying... but i basically don't care... I know you won't lie to me. You hate lying and liars. So there." Kage said with a proud grin. Johnny face palmed himself inside and grumbled but Kage paid no attention. "I asked you out here to have fun and not talk about other people!!" Kage began to whine again.

He sent a pleading look at Chase, begging him to think of something fun to do since Kage was never good in coming up with fun ideas that didn't involve music.

Chase laughed at Kage when he started whining and just dropped the Brent thing completely. He didn't like how Kage had talked about him lying... but he would get over it. Some things were necessary. Chase smiled at him and tried to think of something they could do. "Well we are in the bowling alley... we could always bowl. Or I guess we could go to the beach... or the park. I don't care, I guess. We could go shopping too. I want to find some drumsticks."
