Brent made a whiny 'mrrrh' sort of sound, waking up enough to realise that Chase appeared to be getting payback for the hickey he'd received from the crossbreed while they were in the forest. Brent knew that he maybe could've avoided this by not trying to stay asleep but it was what he was used to doing whenever someone started to try and wake him up. He huffed slightly, opening his eyes but not moving away. It was a very good thing that he did wear scarves quite often so he'd be able to keep the mark Chase was going to leave on his neck covered up in order to avoid any questions than he'd rather not answer.

Chase pulled back when he was down and admired his handiwork for a second before glancing at Brent and seeing that his eyes were open. That worked well enough then. "Yay. You're finally up. You like to sleep a lot."

[/b] Chase teased him and kissed his cheek again. Brent hadn't told him to stop making the hickey... and his eyes were open so that meant he was awake. Chase hoped. Chase just laughed. "Sleep well?"[/b] Chase asked, which was probably a bit weird considering who the one was that came in the other's room last night due to a nightmare, but whatever.

He narrowed his eyes slightly, pretending that he was pissed off. "Gee, thanks for that. I really appreciate it." Brent sighed but then stopped appearing so angry. He smiled a little at Chase, who looked like he'd gone without another nightmare. Brent himself had slept soundly, he did most of the time since he tended to get tired pretty easily and usually went to bed at some stupid time of the morning.

"Mmm, yes. You?" he mumbled. Brent didn't give Chase the chance to answer though and pulled him in for a kiss.

Obviously, with Chase being a soul faery, he knew Brent wasn't really mad. He probably wouldn't have smiled so big or laugh so much if he felt Brent was actually angry. "You'll live."

[/b] Chase teased him back, smiling back as Brent smiled at him. Chase was glad Brent had slept well, and went to tell Brent he slept well too, but was interrupted before he could get the words out. Not that he actually cared how he was interrupted, besides for the fact he probably had morning breathe, but Brent did too, right? Right. One of Chase's hands went to Brent's cheek as he kissed him back, not having to think twice about it.

Brent smiled a little into the kiss, extremely grateful that Daniel hadn't yet made an appearance, which probably should've worried him but he focused his attention on Chase at the moment. Worrying was bad and unBrentish so it really shouldn't be done. Nevertheless, Brent thought that they should probably get up in case Dan did come back and freak out because he'd rather that didn't happen. Brent broke the kiss and pouted a little at Chase. "Okay. I have someone staying with me so we should move or something." he explained.

What? Why was Brent breaking the kiss. This wasn't what was supposed to be happening. Chase pouted along with Brent when he did so, then gave him a confused look. Brent had someone staying with him? "Who's staying with you?"

If they were close enough to stay with Brent... then they should be close enough to know about whatever Chase and Brent had, right? If Chase was close to someone... he would tell them. Probably. Too bad he wasn't close to anyone to find out.

Daniel had just gotten back from doing all his wolf stuff, which he didn't particularly like doing. It took up a lot of spare time and was altogether rather inconvienient, but there wasn't a whole lot he could really do about it. All he wanted to do was check in on Brent before he went to bed because being a werewolf took a lot out of you and he was extremely tired.

Since it was pretty late, Daniel presumed that Brent would be in his room. Pushing open the door a fraction, the werwolf peeked in around the frame. "Brent?" Looking at the elder man, it took him a while to realise what had to be going on. "What the hell?" Dan's mouth hung open; he was speechless. Someone better have a really bloody good explanation for this.

Dan's entrance was inconvenient to say the least but, y'know, he managed to answer Chase's question which was sort of useful. Explanation time. Actually, Brent wasn't sure if he even wanted to explain this to Daniel because... it wasn't going to be that comfortable for anyone. He sighed loudly, looking from Dan, to Chase and then back at the werewolf again. "Soo... I'd say 'I can explain' but I don't really want to... also, this is Chase." Brent let go of the fae and sat up as he spoke to his room mate. Then, he hesitantly smiled down at Chase. "That's Dan. Please make my life easier by getting on with him."

He had the situation under control. Or at least Brent was hoping that.

Chase thought that this was a bit ironic that they were just talking about him... and then the mystery dude decided to show up, but that's what life was. Chase didn't know why Brent didn't seem to want Chase to meet Dan, but Chase could at least be nice about it. If he was a friend of Brent's... then Chase wouldn't have to worry about him hurting him, right? Chase thought so. He gave Dan a smile and sat up when Brent did. "It's nice to meet you."

Dan folded his arms, a stormy expression passing over his face. He had no idea who 'Chase' was, but he looked even younger than than the werewolf. So please, what was he doing in Brent's bed? "No. Nuh-uh. You're explaining this." Since this other guy was new and in his best friend's bed, Daniel's defense mechanism kicked in and basically made him angrier than he had been. He glared at Chase, not even bothering to acknowledge his statement. And why the hell was he smiling? It wasn't like they knew each other!
