Chase smiled at the corniness that was now his boyfriend. He thought that he could start getting used to thing like that. Brent saying things that made him smile before kissing him. Them cuddling together on the piano bench in the music room. The late nights that they were sure to have together. The star gazing in the forest just because they could. Chase could get used to it. In fact, he thought he already was. He kissed Brent back without hesitation, smiling with him as he felt the lips turn upward on his boyfriend. Things were just kind of perfect right now.

Brent pulled back after a while but kept close to Chase, holding his gaze. He kind of felt like he needed to say something and the words were practically on the tip his tongue but this was Brent McKinney - the moronic coward who wasn't fond of sharing the majority of what was on his mind. Yeah, Brent was pretty certain that he was kindofsortofmaybeperhapsalittleinlovewithChase. He thought saying it out loud was just plain stupid though because he was Brent. Rejection was something he couldn't deal with at all and the possibility of that, however slight it may be, worried him greatly.

Chase stayed close to Brent when he pulled back, just like Brent did with Chase. He looked into his eyes and couldn't help but smile. They were a pretty color. Definitely pretty. Chase thought about telling him, but it would ruin this moment when Chase felt Brent want to say something, and then stop himself. Chase turned probably a really dark shade of red as he looked at Brent and muttered, "Would you run away if I said I think I'm falling in love with you?"

That had been the last thing that Brent had expected to hear from Chase. For several moments he stared at the fae in surprise, part of him thinking this was a joke but the look on Chase's face said otherwise. He then realised that sitting there staring wasn't going to achieve anything. "D-defintely not." he whispered, choosing to ignore the fact that he'd just stuttered at the worst moment possible. His face was almost as red as Chase's and he was doing his best not to act like some young, lovestruck fool because they usually pissed him off but it wasn't like he hadn't already been a hypocrite for many other reasons.

Chase definitely understood what Brent had been telling him before. Blushing did look incredibly cute. Chase smiled. Brent didn't run away. He stuttered a bit, which probably meant he was either freaked out or surprised or something. If Chase was smart, he would have just felt what he was, but Chase was too busy smiling because this was just kind of too adorable for him. Brent was changing him, he knew that, and he never wanted to change back. Chase leaned in and kissed Brent again, maybe a bit harder than their kiss a minute ago.

Brent couldn't help but think that this was really too adorable and generally just ashdgksjdkflf in his brain because he hadn't gone and royally fucked anything up yet, unless you counted the Andy thing but that was far from being the worst he could do or had done in the past to other people. As much as he loved Chase's smile, Brent couldn't help feeling even more shfjdklfgdf when they kissed again and brought his hand up to the back of Chase's neck as he deepened it.

Chase was pretty sure he had never felt the need and want for Brent more than he did right now. He mentally swore to himself that he wished they were back in his bedroom with the sock on his door. That would be preferable. For now... Chase was good with climbing on top of Brent's lap, sitting there, and murmuring against his lips. "Does this door lock?"

Chase didn't either but he was to the point where he didn't feel like he cared. Chase slid his hands down so they were gripping his shirt right above the buttons on his pants.

Unfortunately, he didn't think the door to the music room was lockable and if it was then Brent had failed to notice that beforehand. Maybe people would have enough sense not to come barging in since it was closed; which was a sure sign that entering wasn't encouraged. His hands found themselves gripping Chase's hips lightly once the fae had moved to sit in his lap on the piano stool but one did move down to rest on Chase's upper-thigh, his thumb digging into the material of Chase's jeans slightly. "No." he sighed. Brent was planning on ignoring the door issue for a while because it didn't bother him as much as it would've usually done, thanks to Chase.

Brent didn't seem to care about the door being open so Chase didn't either, instead he focused on his hands going under Brent's shirt slightly and working it's way upward as best as he could. He felt Brent's hands on his hips and then one on his upper thigh, pressing in with his thumb. Chase could stay like this for hours if he was allowed to probably. But he was pretty sure he might run out of air, and someone might end up catching them if they did it too often in places like this. Chase was more comfortable with his room, where maybe one of his roommates would walk in on them. He could get the roommates to hold their tongues. Or even Brent's where that Dan character was. Either way it was better than here, but Chase would make do.

Then Brent had a thought. A late one, yes, but it was a good one nonetheless. It occurred to him that Dan was going on some date that apparently wasn't a 'date' date and, if he'd remembered correctly, the werewolf wasn't going to be in most of the day. Brent was sure that going back to his room would be more practical than staying here where an interruption was likely, as much as he wanted to just stay. He brought his lips to Chase's ear. "My room? Dan's out." he whispered.
