Chase almost laughed when he saw Brent's eyes flicker down toward their hands. Chase moved their hands so Brent's was trapped in between his own and Chase's chest. "Good. We're a perfect match then. I never do anything either."[/b] Chase laughed but it was true. He didn't do anything with anyone. Most of the time he went to the music room and played his drums because that was fun for him. Or he went to the library and read a book. Or even stayed in the dorm and watched a movie. "So what do you want to do? Just stay here and cuddle? Or I could turn a movie on. Or we could play a video game or something. Or we could go play music since I still haven't heard you play the piano. Or we could sleep but my roommates might come in then."[/b]

Brent thought they were a perfect match anyway and that Chase probably wouldn't laze around as much as him if he was given the option to do something more useful with his existence. But, yes, they still definitely had that in common. Brent's mind then stopped thinking after it heard 'piano'. He'd made a decision already. "Music. Music is good." he brightened up even more. That was practically always the option he was going to chose if it was available to him. It was impossible for him not to, even more so with the mention of playing piano. "The piano is calling me." Brent smiled.

The fact that it didn't really seem like Brent needed to think about that answer all that much made Chase like him even more. He was amazing and they had the same thoughts sometimes and obviously the same likes since they both wanted to go play music. Chase would have been fine with any of the choices, but music was always his favorite. "Sounds perfect. But you have to sing while you play because I love you voice too."

Brent was having trouble with getting the grin off his face but it was impossible. "I'm sure I can manage that. Just for you." he chuckled. He hadn't really been planning on not singing before Chase had said he should because he was full of awesomeness and surprises like that.

The issue of moving was a rather big one. Brent groaned. "Life's really a bitch sometimes." Nope, he wasn't being melodramatic at all. Scientists should hurry up and create teleports already so he wouldn't have to encounter these problems on a daily basis.

Life was a bitch because they had to get up and move? Chase didn't mind the moving... he more like minded the leaving Brent's arms. That was more of a bother than actually moving was. He could stay curled up in his arms forever. Well. Maybe not forever. He would need to eat and pee and shower, but you get the point. "You're cute."

"Tell me something I don't know." Brent scoffed as he smirked at Chase. He wanted to stay warm and snuggly and not have to move but music was worth moving for, just about. He sighed once Chase kissed him and then started to move. Brent disentangled their limbs and sat up slowly. Another sigh escaped his lips. This took effort. He did manage to get to his feet eventually and sighed a third time before accidentally quoting Fall Out Boy as he started into the distance. "My back has been breaking from this heavy heart, Chase."

Chase should have known a comment like that was coming. He laughed with Brent as he found his shoes and put them on quickly. Listening as Brent went total music geek and quoted Fall Out Boy. Brent was absolutely perfect. Chase smirked as he quoted another Fall Out Boy song back at him. "I don't care what you think as long as it's about me."

[/b] He joked as he went in his bathroom real fast and threw on some eyeliner and walking back into the main room. "Should I change into jeans or just keep my sweats on?"[/b] Chase asked Brent before reaching into his bedside table and grabbing his drumsticks out of it.

Brent smiled as Chase replied with another Fall Out Boy lyric. Now he was probably going to have I Don't Care in his head for the remainder of the day - it was one of those songs that were just too catchy to resist. He ended up perching on the end of Chase's bed which saved him from standing around for any longer when he didn't really need to. Not that the hybrid was lazy or anything. "Jeans are good." Brent nodded. They'd look better on him than sweatpants.

He nodded at Brent about the jeans, yeah... they sounded like a good idea to him too. Plus he had to move about if he was going to drum or anything, and loose clothing sometimes got in the way. He went to his dresser and pulled out a pair of light blue jeans before stripping out of sweatpants and into his jeans, not caring about Brent being right there because he still had boxers on, duh. He turned back to Brent when he was done. Smiling at him while he was sitting on Chase's bed. "Okay. I'm ready."

He half-watched as Chase got changed into his jeans, unable to help himself. Then he smiled back at the fae when he grabbed his drumsticks again and said that he was ready, finally. However, Brent knew that he was being a bit of an impatient hypocrite because it would've taken far longer for him to get ready. "Good." He stood up and walked towards the door while readjusting his scarf and shirt collar to make sure they were perfect like the rest of him was.
