Chase was happy to see the smile on Brent's lips just before Brent had kissed him. That was probably the best sight he could see at the moment. And the kiss... well. Brent would never get over kissing Brent. It was just about the best thing in the world. Except, right now, he just wanted to feel close to Brent. He leaned forward and wrapped his arms around Brent's middle, pulling him in for a tight hug because he just needed it. "Can we just... not fight anymore?"

Brent let out a sigh, returning Chase's hug. Hugs were good and Brent didn't get how they could make you feel so much better but they did so, whatever, he didn't need to question it. "Course." he smiled a little, even if Chase couldn't see it. Brent was relieved that things were alright again now considering the great amount of moping around he'd done lately which seemed to encourage Dianne to squish him more than usual. He was glad that he'd taken the opportunity to escape her extraordinary weight.

Brent agreed, which meant Chase was happy. After however many hours of doing nothing but lay in his bed moping and sometimes crying, he was glad to be in Brent's arms again. He was warm. Brent was always warm. That was one of the many amazing things about Brent. He wanted to stay in his arms as long as he possibly could. "Lay with me? We can lock the door and make my roommates go somewhere else. They probably won't be around anytime soon anyways."

Brent couldn't say no, despite the small risk of someone appearing. He didn't want to leave Chase after having to go without seeing him at all over the past couple of days. "Sure... I missed you, m'not leaving again." he laughed softly. Brent knew he was going to have to try not to do anything that would cause him to argue with Chase again because it really was horrible to fall out with him considering neither or them were the most popular people. Brent wasn't exactly on good terms with anyone else currently either.

Chase smiled widely when Brent said sure, and he said he had missed him. That made Chase extremely happy. He wiggled out of Brent arms and jumped out of his bed to go and lock the door. Then thought about all the times he had to wait and not come in because Alex was in the room... and what Alex had done to tell the roommates that. He bent down and pulled one of his socks off his feet and unlocked the door to put it on the outside doorknob before locking it again and jumped back into his bed, pulling Brent with him and diving under the covers with him. "They don't need to know what we're doing in here."

[/b] Chase giggled, not caring about the questions it would leave him with later. Maybe he'd pass it off as it being Alex, and then try to get Alex to believe he was just drunk and didn't remember. It could happen.

Brent wriggled under the covers, not bothering to remove his shoes or anything because that would require more movement from him and the crossbreed thought that would be too much effort. When Chase returned to his bed, Brent did some octopus-like attack on him, wrapping his limbs around the fae and snickering. "Nope." he agreed, forcing any thoughts of Chase's room mates out of his mind, which was pretty easy since so much of his attention had been given to Chase already. He was grateful that they were getting some time alone together.

Chase snuggled into Brent as soon as Brent's arms wrapped themselves around Chase. He didn't think he would ever get rid of the warm fuzzy feeling Brent gave him by just holding him. He wasn't sure what that meant, but he knew that he liked it. "And I missed you too, by the way."

Having fire faerie abilities were actually useful, unlike tails. "I see. You only like me because I'm warm, huh? You're taking advantage of me?" Brent smirked. He thought that Chase wouldn't be so grateful when the weather got hotter because that really was a pain. Brent had to avoid the sun in the height of summer because of how easy it was for him to overheat. Then he sometimes resorted to going in water in shaded areas. But his tail still didn't help him out at all then.

[/b] Chase mocked him and stuck his tongue out at Brent. Still holding on tightly and getting his warmth. Sometimes Chase wished he was a normal element faery. He wanted to have the special connection to an element. Instead, Chase had a special connection to people's minds. To energy. He liked his abilities, when he was able to work them, but sometimes he thought it'd be cool to control fire or water or something. Having a fire fae for a... whatever Brent was to him right now, would work just as well though.

Brent tightened his grip around Chase slightly. "I'll just suffocate you with my hotness." he said, shrugging his shoulders and trying to keep a straight face. "But I do that to everyone who sees me so I don't think it'll be much of a problem." Brent was pretty sure that he was being one-hundred percent truthful here because he practically blinded half the school with his beauty everyday. That wasn't an exaggeration, not in the slightest. He just couldn't get over his own appearance.
