Did Brent just kiss his nose? That was so incredibly cute. Chase's face broke out into a huge smile as he looked a Brent. Who would have thought that Chase would be with someone, laying in his bed, cuddling, kissing, teasing. If someone told him that when he first came to Northvale, he would have stuttered out that the person was more than likely insane and needed to be checked out mentally. Yet here he was, completely relaxed around Brent. "I know I am."

Brent hadn't predicted that response. That was his line, gosh. "I think I'm a bad influence on you." he laughed. Well, yes, that was probably more true than he'd admit but that didn't matter. Brent couldn't keep his eyes off Chase... that smile, it was really something special. The way it made the boy's eyes light up was too adorable for Brent to deal with. Chase in general just turned his mind into complimentary nonsense. It was actually a lot better than other things that went racing around his head.

Chase was perfectly fine with Brent being a bad influence on him if it meant he got to hang around him more often. Chase knew he wouldn't act this way around anyone but Brent, so he was okay with it. "I'm fine with that."

"Whatcha lookin' at?"[/b] Chay asked but didn't really give him time to answer before leaning in and kissing him gently on the lips, his smile evident in the sweet, quick kiss. "Have I ever told you I'm glad I ran into you in the gardens?"[/b] Chase whispered, his smile still there but fading as he remembered their first meeting.

He didn't think Chase would be bothered by his influence, because it was obviously amazing. Brent was about to answer with an extremely intelligent and romantic 'your mum' but was interrupted with a kiss so that he could feel Chase's smile against his own which made him smile more. Ugh, smiling, who'd have thought he'd end up doing this much of it? "Meh. Not as glad as I am to have found you there, I bet." Jesus Christ. Brent almost threw up in his mouth because that was sickeningly sweet.

Brent was perfect. Chase didn't know why he had freaked out before when he heard that Brent had beat up Andy. If he had... then Andy deserved it. Brent was too sweet to hurt someone if they didn't. "Liar. I am definitely more glad. If it weren't for you... well. I'd still be the loner that had no one. Now I at least have you."

He wasn't a liar. Well, he was, but Brent was certain that he'd been telling the truth just then. "And you don't think I'm in the same situation as you? I'm hardly Mr Popular. Personally, I think being more of a loner is better 'cause there's less people to deal with." he reasoned after noticing Chase's smile fade slightly. He had Chase and Dan to save him from complete loneliness now, things weren't looking as bleak as they had done previously.

Brent and his very limited memory had forgotten completely about the date he'd agreed to go on with Chase. "Oh, I remember now. Weren't we gonna see a movie or something?" he grinned.

Okay.. so Chase had to give Brent that one. Neither of them were exceedingly well liked or anything, andChase knew that. He was just happy that they had each other. He didn't bring up anything else, knowing that it might just be best to let it be and moved on to the topic of their date. "Yes. Movie and dinner."

He nodded happily. "M'kay, sounds good." Brent was pretty sure that he was going to spend most of the time complaining or suppressing the urge to do so but he was already making a promise to himself that he'd try keeping his mouth shut. Whether or not that would work, he didn't know. The idea of extra walking didn't appeal to him just as much though but Brent wanted to spent as much time as possible with Chase. "I don't do walking. That takes effort."

Chase smiled back at Brent, happy he seemed to actually want to go and not just say that because he felt like he had to or something. That made Chase feel ten times better. Chase moved his arm down, the other one was still loosely hanging on Brent's neck, and laced his fingers with Brent's. "How about tomorrow night? If you're not busy?"

Brent glanced down at his and Chase's joined hands for a moment, part of his brain going into fangirl mode over the sweetness of the gesture. He was free tomorrow night. Heck, Brent was nearly always free, whenever. "Okay. I'm never busy, trust me." the crossbreed smirked, kind of almost making fun of himself. He didn't care that he never had much to do because he was so lazy and a big procrastinator too. The man wouldn't be able to cope with a life any busier than this.

"Good." he nodded, glad to have gotten out of the walking. "Walking is bad for the soul." Brent frowned slightly, not meaning to blurt that last bit out. It was true in his mind.
