Silver smiled when Elijah decided to share a small tidbit about his thoughts. Apparently it involved someone else and it was a male. Silver had seen cases like this for many years. Curiosity always was a double edge sword. "Well, everyone has a certain level of curiosity. How they work is what separates each individual. You had fueled his and it will only be sated when he fully knows what is going on. However, things are not easy. Nothing is ever easy for curiosity can work both ways. It's a double edge sword that can cut you if used wrongly. Take hid, Elijah Jacobs. Many had gone through what you are going through now, but few win in the end." Silver said with a smile yet the tone was heavily laid with warning. That was the downside of Silver's smile. Since he swore to never pout or be angry, his smile usually sent mixed signals to whomever it was facing.

Elijah was beginning to feel that most conversations he was having were going to nowhere. They always lead down the same path. Eli thinking about Ama. Trying to talk to someone about something else the conversation always leading to what Eli was thinking. Never telling anyone anything just keeping to himself them telling him to let his thoughts out. Yeah, no thank you. Eli was just fine keeping his thoughts to himself. Maybe he should write them down. Give it someone. Maybe he should talk to someone a little more professional. They had a counsellor now right? Maybe he'd go talk to him... When the time was right. Get out all his thoughts.

"I guess you're right," he told the man. Not listening to what he said, but wrapped up in his own thoughts. A dangerous place that one could get lost in.

Silver should keep his words down to a minimum. Elijah was not being rude per say. But he was lost in his own thoughts to pay any immediate attention to what Silver was saying. But it didn't really matter much since he knew that words of someone you just met and who looked so young. "Well, I think we have a counselor here. You can go and see him if you want." Silver suggested as he stood up to make himself a cup of coffee. Though he could barely taste it, he wanted to feel the hot liquid go down his throat once in a while. He tried to think if he ought to say anything else to Elijah but he knew that there was nothing else Silver could say.

Maybe Silver was right. Elijah should talk to someone but first confronting the boy would probably be the best idea. He needed to talk to him. Get out all of his feelings. He had written that thing for him. It wasn't really a story just a piece of prose that got his feelings of that moment out. It just didn't help as much as he thought it would. "Yeah, I thought about that. I don't know. I'll probably just write out what I'm thinking. That helps sometimes."

There was a lot of options Eli had. It wasn't like he was having any bad thoughts. He was just confused on whether he liked someone or not. Everyone went through that. Being confused was normal.

Silver nodded as he sat back down with the coffee in his hand. He sniffed and it did smell good. He turned back to Elijah and smiled when the other had considered seeing the guidance counselor. Then he nodded once again when Elijah said that he would write down what he was feeling. "Well, humans do keep journals. It works for stress and sharing happy thoughts. Just make sure you keep your note/journal/letter carefully if you do not intend to share it with anyone else." he suggested as he took a sip of his very hot coffee. He smiled as he felt the hotness go down his throat.

Elijah laughed at the idea of a journal. He was a writer of course he kept a journal. It was mostly filled with ideas for new books and notes about people he met. Sometimes he put in random thoughts but he hadn't really been keeping it up since he got to Northvale. "I, uh, actually already do keep a journal. Haven't written in it much since I moved here, but I do keep one."

The smell of the coffee Silver was drinking reached Eli's nose making him want a cup himself. He got up and went over to the coffee machine, poured himself a cup of coffee, blew on it for good measure, and took a sip.

He watched as Elijah made himself a cup of coffee as well. And Silver thought it was funny that he forgot that Elijah was a writer and that the man probably did already have a journal. "Well time for you to write in it now." was all he said as he took another sip. The scent of coffee was feeling the area that he and Elijah were occupying. "I should have thought that you probably do have a journal. But then again, maybe my memory escapes me. I feel funny that I have forgotten such a small thought though." Silver said as he held the cup in between his hands, feeling its warmth and enjoying.

Elijah liked coffee. The black liquid was comforting. It made Elijah body warm, filling him with a nice comforted feeling. He sighed letting out a small laugh. "You're right! I should. I'll re-start when I get back to my dorm." Which reminded him, he had many papers to grade. Nothing too urgent but he'd promised to get them all back the next day. He didn't want to just leave though. So, he decided to just finish his coffee and maybe get another cup. He liked talking to Silver, even if if the man sorta creeped Elijah out. But, who didn't creep Eli out? Most, people did. Which was weird.

Silver simply nodded as he finished his cup of coffee. He wanted to get back to his dorm room and finish the portrait of the school grounds he had started but hadn't finished because he had gotten called away. "Well, now that you seem more cheerful, I must bid you a farewell for the meantime Elijah Jacobs. I have things to attend to that requires my attention." he said as he zoomed to dispose the cup he was using. He smiled at Elijah, "I'll see you around." was all he said with a smile and he grabbed his bag and zoomed out the staff lounge. He was not getting bored but he was trying to avoid the possibility of having to enter Elijah's mind by force to know what was really happening. Silver simply sighed.
