Brent was getting angry with the blinds in his classroom because they just would not work properly, however hard he tried to get them to close so he'd be able to move his laptop somewhere the sun wouldn't cause his screen to be completely useless. He was too lazy to move it, which probably would've been easier for him. This was Brent. Of course he was going to go for the harder option. He let out a pathetic sob and refrained from setting fire to the cursed blinds and distracted himself by gazing over at his laptop where he had Simon Neil's Tumblr tag up. As much as he loved how good it made him feel, Brent wasn't happy with where the sunlight had decided to shine this afternoon.

Chase was bored. He was bored a lot... but he remembered Brent telling him he almost always did nothing and decided to go wander down to his classroom and see if he was currently doing nothing in order to occupy his time just a little bit. He had finished his homework... and homework that wasn't due soon. And everything he needed to do. He was a loser. He made it to Brent's room quickly and peeked in. "Brent... You in here?"

He gave the cord that supposedly worked the blinds another sharp tug, mumbling profanities under his breath when he saw that his efforts were in vain. Now moving his laptop was looking like a far more preferable idea. The things he did for Simon Neil, god. Brent was about to go over at find somewhere else to sit when he heard Chase at the door and his gaze switched from the pictures and gifs of his favourite Scotsman to his boyfriend. "No." he rolled his eyes at Chase, whose face peeked out from behind the door. Brent found that kind of cute for some reason.

He smiled wide when he heard Brent's voice and then looked to make sure there wasn't anyone else before coming in and shutting the door back behind him. "Oh you're not here, are you? I can leave then... come back another time when you are here."

[/b] Chase teased as he didn't come any further into the room, but instead stayed teasingly by the door, one hand outstretched to reach for the handle again. He wasn't going to leave, of course. Brent was in the room, and no one else was... there was no way he was going to leave now that he was in.

Chase wasn't going to leave, of course not. Who would dare to abandon such a beautiful, lonely creature and his aggravating blinds, being driven mad with having no one to talk to but pictures on his laptop screen. It would be criminal. "Maybe I am here and I'm not gonna let you leave, anyway." Brent smirked. He'd decided to give up on his blinds. Because who needed Simon Neil when he had his boyfriend here? Chase was no hairy, Scottish rockstar but there was just something - or everything, to be honest - about him that had lead to Brent falling in love with him.

Chase returned the smirk easily. With Brent, anything was easy. He dropped his arm and went over to kiss Brent quickly. "Well then. If you are here, then I guess I'll just have to stay."

[/b] Chase told him as he looked at the desk. He had been in here once before, of course. But that was when he was all upset at Brent for the Andy thing, and now he wasn't. So yeah. "So what are you up to? I finished all the homework I had. And then more. And then I finished the book I was reading... so I was bored."[/b] Chase told him with a smile, wrapping his arms around Brent's neck.

Brent felt far less pissed off with his awful blinds when he had Chase close to him again. He smiled after Chase had kissed him, glad that he was staying even if he knew that was going to happen beforehand. He was jealous of Chase's productivity because, so far, Brent had achieved nothing today. The fact that he was on Tumblr made that pretty obvious. He panicked in case Chase went over to see all the Simon Neil stuff because then he'd get to see Brent's blog too and that was never allowed to happen. "Blinds." he blurted out, too focused on the safety of his blog to form a whole sentence so quickly added to that, "...They're shit." He smiled again hesitantly in the hopes of covering up his own idiocy and wrapped his arms around Chase's waist in return.

The blinds were shit? Chase looked at him with an amused expression before looking over at the open blinds. It seemed like Brent couldn't close them. Wasn't that cute. "Do you want me to close the blinds for you, boo?"

[/b] Chase asked him, still smiling because they didn't look like shit, so Brent probably just couldn't close them. Chase found that way cuter than he should have. Although he didn't want to move now he was kind of in Brent's arms... he was just lazy like that. And Brent was warm.

The crossbreed made a whiny, vague noise as an answer because, as much as he wanted to get these blinds shut, that would mean letting go of Chase. If the fae managed to shut them immediately after Brent had failed to succeed in the task after far too long then that was going to be kind of embarrassing for him so he'd rather avoid that too. The blinds could just be left to rot. They sucked. He wouldn't be stick in the midst of this tricky dilemma if they actually worked properly. Or if they liked him enough to do their job correctly. Perhaps the real issue was that he was lacking in the 'magic blind touch'.

Chase shook his head fondly at his boyfriend for the little sound he made instead of actually giving Chase an answer, but he took it as a don't bother, which was fine with Chase. He leaned up and kissed Brent on the jaw, then the cheek, then the nose, and finally the lips before staying close and giving him a smile. "If you want. We'll say the blinds are evil and never talk about them again."
