Kayla Autumn Rook
Hey, my name is... Kayla Autumn Rook
But most call me... Kayla, La-la (my mama calls me that)
If you want to, you can label me... heterosexual
I've been on this earth for... 13 years
Which means I was born... December 3, 1999
My blood runs with... soul fae x werewolf
I'm a... student
And only a... first year
My eyes are... brown
And my hair is... black
One could say... I'm nothing special. My mama says I'm the prettiest little girl in the world, but she has to say that because she's my mama. I'm normal height for my age, maybe a little on the short side. I'm half black and half white, so my skin is sort of half coffee, half creamer. All in all, I'm just a normal girl.
When I'm in little fairy mode, I got lavender wings, big like a butterfly's. When I'm a wolf, I got all black fur. My wolf is still smaller than most because I'm not quite done growing.
I'm normally seen wearing... my school uniform! Well, other than that, I like to dress nice. I got a soft spot for dresses, and my mama buys me way too many.
And I supposedly look like... Amandla Stenberg
All round, I'm... really positive. My grandma always used to tell me the gods watch over each and every one of us, and everyone should be loved and respected as a part of this beautiful world. I really like that. I try really hard to see the good in people no matter what.
I spend a lot of time praying to my goddess, Psyche. I know I'm not pure blood, but I like to think that doesn't matter much to her. She gives me guidance when I feel lost and comfort when I'm scared. I guess sometimes I just need something to ground me like that.
I'm really quiet, but that don't mean I'm shy. I mostly like to listen to other people, rather than do the talking. Everyone's got story to tell. My grandma and daddy drilled good old fashioned Southern manners into my head since I was a kid, so don't expect me to be cussing or spitting or anything like that.
I'm in love with... love, life, sunshine, people, animals, pretty clothes, good books, football (the British kind), pistachio ice cream
Though I detest... cruelty, confrontation, math, gloomy weather, pessimistic attitudes
But my best assets are... my ability to reason with and comfort others, my judge of character, and my faith.
However my worst... I'm told I can be too naive and trusting. Also, I hate confrontation and would rather let someone walk all over me than incite hurt feelings.
And I dream of... helping people, really making a difference.
My life story... Well, I was born in England while my daddy was there helping to facilitate the last of the peace treaties to end the war. He was real good with words and diplomacy, things like that, so the faerie council brought him over from the US special, just to keep things calm. Anyway, he stayed there a while and met my mama while he was at it. They had me, and when it came time for Daddy to go back home, they decided it was best if he took me with. He had a lot of family back home to help out.
I was raised in a quiet town just outside Savannah, Georgia. My daddy and I lived with his mom when I was a baby, so he'd have extra hands, but we moved out once I was older. I still saw the rest of my family often, though. My mama came to visit as often as she could, and I always looked forward to her visits. One of my best memories is the year she spent Christmas with us, and we all sat around the tree and opened presents like a real family.
I'm a half breed, though, so things are bound to be a bit tricky. My daddy had an easy time of managing my wolf form when I was young, because it was nice and small and easy to appease. My wolf is still a whole lot tamer than most, due to my being a soul fae. He's a soul fae, too, so he'd calm me down like that.
One day, we was driving home from a visit to Savannah, and I guess we just weren't paying good enough attention to the calendar. I changed in the car and the wolf started going crazy. It was such a surprise and so startling that the car swerved into oncoming traffic. Daddy's side of the car took the brunt of the crash. Because I was on the other side, and I was in wolf form, I barely got a scratch. I wish I could say the same for Daddy, but that just ain't how it went. He survived, but his spine separated pretty high up. Quadriplegia's what it's called. That's where he can't move his arms or legs. He can hardly talk.
We had to move him back in with my grandma. She had her hands so full taking care of him, I didn't want to put any more burden on her. Besides, I was nearly thirteen, so I would have been off to Northvale soon anyway. I'm in England with my mama now, and I'm so grateful to have her around. She's the best mother a girl could ask for.
I was born to... Gene Hephaestus and Astrid Rook
Not to mention... a beta fish named George Junior - I had another before him named George.
My ooc name is... Joohlia[/color][/blockquote]
And I've been roleplaying... since Stonehenge was built by aliens
The Secret Word is... PASSWORD ACCEPTED
