There was a small breeze that day but it wasn't anything to get worked up about. Robyn sat down in the middle of the courtyard, looking around and smiling. After nine months of having no home, she really was getting used to the school. It was becoming home to her, slowly but steadily, and that thought was comforting. She had still not been able to find the courage to phone home and talk to her parents about what had happened. She didn't think they'd want her as a daughter anymore if they knew what she had become. Robyn could have kept it a secret but that wasn't really going to be kept for very long, now was it?
She sighed and ran a hand through her hair. There was no point in getting worked up about it. It wasn't like anyone could really help her now and she didn't actually mind being a werewolf. It was fun, to a certain extent. Okay, so the shifting had been horrible at the start and not to mention she accidentally killed two people... but that hadn't really been her fault completely. She was just a poor lost soul in all of this mess, you had to give her some slack.
It was still weird though, being what she was. She had never expected in a million years to be a werewolf and yet here she was, sitting in the courtyard of a strange school for the supernatural. If she'd been told last year that this is where she would end up, she wouldn't have believed the person. Robyn sighed and closed her eyes. No need to think about the past, girl. What's happened has happened and your life has changed now. It would be good if she could remember that though.
The girl looked around and saw that not many people were around. She grabbed a stick that was left on the ground and started fiddling with it. She really felt like cooking but she didn't know where she could go to do that. I wonder if they'd let me cook at work... Robyn doubted that. She was just a waitress after all.
Sighing, she looked up at the sky. "Oh, how things have changed." Robyn said to herself.
