Michael walked up the tall spiral staircase that lead up to the school buildings roof he needed to get away from the chaos of the school for a second. He gotten chased by a group of angry werewolf students whom he'd accidentally shocked while practicing a new move with his electricity. He sighed and wiped his face it was still day time but there were owls hooting along with crows flying by if it weren't for their raucous cries he'd never be able to see them with them being as black as the darkness that surrounded him because of the storm clouds that hung over the skies menacingly. He sat down and leaned his back against a curve on the corner of the roof he'd selected one of the highest points of the roof so that he could see the whole campus and some of the town that lay before it.
For the first time in the 3 years he'd been here at Northvale he was homesick he missed his parents he wanted to see them to talk to them but that wasn't possible at the moment not with him here. He lifted his hands held them up palms facing the sky and created tiny columns of electricity that crackled and fizzled before sputtering out much like a fire he shook his head and drew his knees up to his chest and put his chin on his knees and watched the birds flutter in an apparent panic trying to find shelter from the oncoming storm.

Robyn was still getting used to Northvale Academy. She hadn't been there very long, a few months at the most. She didn't believe it was long enough to get used to such a change though. She had so much to learn about the other supernaturals, werewolves themselves, how to control herself and her inner wolf. This was all so different from her normal life. Her old life. This was meant to be normal to her now, rather than being that silly little human. Humans aren't silly, Robyn thought to herself. Humans are wonderful. Humans are family.
She couldn't help but feel a little left out though. Apparently makers were meant to look after werewolves that they had turned. That hadn't happened with Robyn and she hated the fact. Maybe then she might have been able to control herself better before arriving at Northvale Academy. The thought that maybe she could have had some helped saddened her. It seemed there were jerks everywhere in the world, even in the shadows that hid the world's secrets.
Sighing, she decided to go for a little wander. Sitting around in her lonely dorm wasn't going to do any good for her. The girl walked towards her bookcase and pulled out her seventh Harry Potter book. When she had ran away from home, it was the only book she had brought with her. She didn't know why, maybe it was because Harry, Ron and Hermione had run away in that book. It always comforted people if their favourite characters had gone through the same situations, didn't it? Well, at least that was what Robyn thought. She left her dorm room and headed down the corridors, trying to think of a good place to hide away. She wasn't very good at that sort of thing yet, though.
Robyn passed maybe people but she didn't know any of them. There was one that she recognised from one of her classes but she had no idea what the person's name had been. Instead of trying to interact with any of the people, she looked down at the floor and didn't make eye contact with anyone. She found herself heading up a spiral staircase, not remembering where it headed to. Might as well find out. Robyn smiled when she found herself on the rooftop. The black clouds didn't scare her. She could read up here quite peacefully until it started to rain. Or at least she thought she could.
There was a small crackling sound coming from somewhere off to the side. She looked over and saw a boy leaning against the roof. So, maybe she wouldn't be alone completely. She felt like she was disturbing his peace though and felt the need to wander a little closer to him. "Excuse me?" Robyn asked a little warily. "Is it okay if I sit up here with you?" She wouldn't bother him, she'd just read. Or she could make a friend. It was probably about time that she did that, anyway.

Michael looked up quickly a little but surprised he hadn't really expected anyone to come up here not when it was so close to pouring with rain. He shrugged at the girl and said, "Sure, go ahead the more the merrier I guess, what brings you up here? it's going to rain soon you know..." He watched her for a few moments and it was then while he watched her that he noticed that he was carrying a book he found himself smiling at the fact that it was a Harry Potter book his parents had read all 7 books to him when he was growing. He winked and said, "Harry Potter, The Boy who Lived" He then rested his chin back on his knees as he surveyed the view he smirked to himself as he spotted a few small blobs that were other students as they dashed like startled rabbits to the nearest area of shelter as the sky darkened.
Michael held one hand up and created a ball of electricity and spun it on his finger the small ball of electricity lit up the darkened roof top quite a lot so he carefully made the ball of electricity larger creating more light then he bounced it up and let it hang in the air over top of the girl making it easier for her to see her book quite like a lamp but in a medium sized ball of electricity. He watched the sky as a pair of ravens flew across the skies had it not been for the flapping of their wings he was sure he would have missed them in the near black storm clouds covering the skies.

"Sure, go ahead the more the merrier I guess, what brings you up here? it's going to rain soon you know..." Robyn smiled at the boy as he spoke and went to sit down near him. She knew that it was going to rain soon but she still looked back up to the skies. The clouds really were getting darker but Robyn didn't mind. She was wearing a dark brown leather jacket over a long sleeved top and it kept her relatively warm. However, her jeans would become uncomfortable if she stayed out in the rain for too long. Robyn honestly didn't mind though. The thing she cared most about getting wet was the book that she held firmly in her hands, as if she was about to lose it.
"I've been through worse." Robyn admitted. This was nothing compared to sitting under a tree in winter while sleet washed down from the sky with barely anything to keep you warm. Robyn could remember days like that vividly. It made her wish that she'd never ran away from home in the first place. Well a lot of things had made her wish she'd never ran away from home but there wasn't anything she could do to change it now. At least she had somewhere warm to sleep now and rain seemed so easy to handle. She didn't mind a spot of water at all.
She looked back at the boy and smiled to him, watching as he sent up the little ball of electricity over her head to give her light. Opening her book, she was glad to see that the light gave her enough illumination to read. People were all going inside to avoid the oncoming rain but Robyn couldn't help but smile as she sat up there. "So, why are you up here if you know it's about to rain?" She questioned. He could easily point out the weather to scare her away but Robyn thought that he'd be bothered from the rain more than her. She could always be wrong though. She didn't know anything about him, after all.

Michael looked up at the sky as a droplet of water dripped on his arm he wasn't sure wether or not this would be the kind of storm where it would sprinkle a few drops before letting loose it's full fury or if it would take a long time of sprinkling before it started pouring. Michael ran a hand over his shoulders as a chilly breeze blew past them. He glanced at the girl before looking at his clothes he was wearing a black t-shirt and dark colored jeans and black and white sneakers. He'd changed into his casual clothes because he found his uniform quite uncomfortable and it made him feel safer when he wore clothes that were his that he was used to wearing and seeing.
Michael nodded and said, "i'm hiding i've pissed off a few of the werewolves here by accidentally shocking a few of them while practicing a new move I can do with my power and...i'm homesick I can see the whole town where I live from up here and it's quite calming to see such a stunning view of the world around us... sometimes you'd never know there was a world around you outside this place" Michael tapped a hand on his knees.

It didn't surprise Robyn that he had been able to piss off some werewolves. There seemed to be obvious tension at the Academy that she tried to stay out of. She wasn't entirely sure what had happened to make all the kids like this and she'd never bothered to ask someone. She wasn't close enough to anyone to feel the need to ask them such a thin. She'd rather talk about it comfortably with someone rather than get quick facts. It was interesting to hear about him trying to practice a new move. She didn't know that much about the magic here or the Borea's. They could do pretty amazing stuff though, like making little lightning lanterns that could float above your head.
Robyn glanced back up at her one. It was strangely comforting and she had no idea why. She turned back to him and listened until he had finished talking. It really was like another world. However, Robyn thought of the whole of Northvale it's own world rather than just the Academy. So many people out in the real beyond had no idea about the things that really did live in the world. Things like her. She considered herself lucky that Aaron had told her about him being a werewolf, even though he wasn't meant to. Maybe that was why he had disappeared like that... Robyn told herself to snap out of it and to not think like that. Aaron was fine, somewhere out there. He probably just had to come back to Britain. After all, he had had a family here.
"Homesick, huh?" She repeated, looking out over the grounds of the school. It really did have a lovely view from up here, even with the darkened clouds that hung overhead. It only made the scenery look more dramatic in Robyn's eyes. She had no idea if it was the same for the boy she was with though. Still, she could imagine a place beyond this town. It was just very far away and very hard to contact. That, and Robyn just didn't want to. She didn't think her parents would be very happy if she phoned them up and said "Hey, I'm a werewolf that goes to a supernatural-only boarding school." For a start, they wouldn't believe her. For seconds, she didn't even have a phone. At least, not yet...
She looked back at him once again, smoothing the page of her book. "Where's 'home' to you? Is it even in Northvale?" There were so many people there that she had no idea if they all came from this town or f they came from further afield, just like herself. She was hopeful that he'd be the same as her though. It'd be interesting to see how he'd gotten used to this place if he had been. "Oh, I'm Robyn, by the way. What's your name?"
