CORE REQUIREMENTS
All boreai must attend their respective elements course for their year. All faeries must attend their respective elements course for their year. All 1st-3rd year sirens must attend all three siren classes. 4th and 5th years need only attend one of the three. All 1st-3rd year sorcerers must attend Charms, Transfigurations, and Potions. 4th and 5th years need only attend one of the three. In addition, 4th and 5th years must all take Curses & Hexes. All vampires must attend Vampire Management for their year. All werewolves must attend Wolf Control for their year.
Every year, students must attend one PE, dance, drama, or Hunting Practice course. Every year, students must attend one foreign language, art, or music class. Students must be enrolled in an English class all five years.
In order to graduate, all students must complete:
Extraordinary Beings History
Health and Sex Education (to be taken by Year Two)
3 years of maths
3 years of science
3 years of social science
2 years of foreign language
Special notes: Potions I & II are equivalent to Chemistry I & II. Theater History and Latin Literature may count toward the social science requirement. Foreign language literature courses may count toward the English requirement.
Adult students may test out of or apply to be exempted from certain classes.
PE, art, dance, and music classes may be repeated so long as instructor approval is obtained.
Any course conflicts should be discussed with teachers, and alternative arrangements can be made in extraordinary situations. Students requiring extra assistance in any course should arrange private lessons with their instructor or a student tutor.COURSE DESCRIPTIONS
