It hadn't been the most pleasant of weather lately. After their week of sun, England seemed to fall back into its usual hole of ‘shitty’ weather. Cloudy, rain, cold, windy…apparently a storm was in the weather forecast too. Izarra loved it. When many people preferred to stay inside in such weather, the hybrid liked to be outside. Spinning, arms stretched, looking up at the dark sky as rain poured heavily down, drenching her, soaking her clothes, into her skin, chilling her to the bone. It made her feel like a fucking Goddess. All powerful. Untouchable. Although, she understood that wasn’t necessarily the case unfortunately…that level of power was out of her reach. Sad face. However, this afternoon wasn’t that bad. It had drizzled earlier and the wind was still prevalent but otherwise it was ‘fine’ which in Izarra’s view was boring. Grey clouds darkened half of the sky but Northvale was given glimpses of the bright blue that hid behind them and as it moved more to the south, the clouds got lighter, brightened until they were that pure, faultless white and marked the break into the half of the sky that was a bright azure. It was pretty. But it still did not rival a thunderstorm.
Izarra was in a good mood today. A very good mood in fact but she was also bored. So fucking bored. With a sigh, she laid down on the damp grass, careful not to disturb her light peach rose headband that laid upon her hair too much and as Rammstein’s 'Sonne' played through her headphones into her ears, she aimed the camera up to the sky and lightly sang along to the metal music. "Alle warten auf das Licht-" Snap. One picture, of the darkened half of the sky. She moved her camera across the sky. "- fürchtet euch fürchtet euch nicht-" Snap. Another picture. "- die Sonne scheint mir aus den Augen-" She moved it once again, to the area where the sky changed from grey to white. Snap. "- sie wird heut Nacht nicht untergehen-" Snap. Another picture. "- und die Welt zählt laut bis zehn…" Snap. Final picture, of the brightened half of the sky. That relieved her boredom for what...thirty seconds? Probably less than that. Ugh she was going to die. She was going to fucking die of boredom. Was für eine scheiße art zu sterben! Zara had hoped that the day she met her end she'd at least die with a bang. Something big and exciting after wreaking havoc and ruining many people's lives. But no. She was going to die from fucking boredom if she didn't find something to do or someone to play with.

Wind. Even though it just so happened to be the element that Natesa controlled, she didn't necessarily have to like it, did she? Sure, she loved the fresh air and the outdoors, but she didn't like the bitter, chilly winds that came with England. She missed Perth sometimes - the sun had almost always been out, which warmed and lit every crevice in every place there. Here? It was just ridiculously grim and bleak, considering what the weather had been like not one week ago. She despised it with every fibre of her being.
She trudged through the windy grounds, feeling strangely like a character in a horror film as she heard the gusts whistle past her. And not just any character, oh no. The one that always ends up dying in the most brutal, horrific way. She knew she was being a bit paranoid, probably just because she was alone. But surely that didn't matter. She wasn't being irrational, was she? Not when it came to Northvale. All sorts of crazy shit went down here, and no matter how hard one may have tried, they couldn't deny that.
It wasn't as if her life was that great, either. Sure, she'd finally managed to talk to Kit about things, and yes, she was doing well in lessons. But, really, she couldn't turn a corner now without thinkibg about what Lance said. How she was living a lie. And, even though she knew that he only said it to get at her (which had worked), she also knew that he was right. She just... She didn't know what to do. She didn't kno whether to be honest in an attempt to prove Lance wrong, or just cover it over and hope that the topic came up, or what. She just wasn't sure. In fact, "wasn't sure" was a bit of an understatement. She was just baffled. And not in a good way.
She found herself sat in the picnic area on a bench, staring down at her feet, just lost in thought as to what she should do. And she was still drawing up no answers. So, with a sigh, she stood up and went to walk away. However, the fourth year's shoelace had seemed to have decided that she wasn't going anywhere, and she tripped over it. Great.
With rapidly darkening cheeks, she scrambled to her feet. Her big, blue eyes flickered around nervously, as she prayed that no one had seen or was around to see her being a complete and utter fool.

The hybrid had smelt the other hybrid before she heard a thud to the ground. The sound of someone falling to the ground. Eager, Izarra sat up quickly, a smile on her face as she saw the blue-haired Vampire-Air Faerie she had met earlier on the ground. Giggling to herself she snapped a picture of the pathetic excuse for a half vampire although she could not deny that she was slightly- no- majorly disappointed that the girl hadn’t broken something or cut herself badly but she supposed the darkened cheeks, the frantic scramble to get to her feet and that wide blue doe-eyed nervous look of humiliation on her face was slightly satisfying. It tickled the Dark Boreai inside of her making that darkness want to be released. To make the girl’s worst fears seem like they’ve become reality…then, perhaps gauge those pretty blue eyes from her skull…yes, those eyes were beautiful.
Instead though Izarra stood and went over to the girl. She had decided earlier that she was going to play the ‘nice and innocent’ game. Go against her nature and act like she meant no harm. A wolf in sheep’s clothing. Because that always made things more fun…winning people over, earning their trust, their friendship, their loyalty and then watching their faces when they realize how they were so very wrong about her. “Oh god! Are you okay schatz?” The concern in her voice made Zara feel petty, but it had to be done. The hybrid could smell it then though, that lovely, delicious smell and as she looked for the source, she saw the girl had cut her hand…but…how? They were on grass…Izarra looked down and that’s when she saw it. The small, rugged rock. “Your hand…you’ve cut yourself" She placed a frown on her face, looking down at the girl’s hand. She gently took it, so very gently as if the girl would shatter to pieces- because some creatures now-a-days were so fragile. It was a pity really- she took her hand, and looked at the cut on the girl's pale palm before carefully raising it to her lips and placing a kiss on the wound in an almost child-like manner. The temptation to lick the small amount of blood that was there, to bite and break the skin to make the blood leak into her mouth was so strong…but Zara resisted. Izarra looked up at the other hybrid “Kissed it better” She gave her a strangely innocent, sweet smile as if the small kiss had ought to have fixed everything.

A stinging sensation tingled throught the hybrid's body as she made contact with the ground. It wasn't the normal one that came with falling, though. No, this one implied some kind of abrasion somewhere. She scanned her body briefly, her knees first, and then her hands, to find a long cut painting the ivory skin of her palm and leaking blood just the slightest bit. She winced at the sight of it, and sighed almost theatrically. Well. Wasn't that just fantastic.
No. It wasn't. Not only did it hurt quite a bit, it dented her pride considerably each time it happened. Just why? Did Aether have it in for her or something? Maybe she felt that she couldn't make pure faes anything less than perfect and graceful. And, well, she was tainted with the blood of another species. Surely it didn't matter to the deity that this one ended up badly composed, clumsy as hell, and surely a danger to herself and others around her. In fact, she'd probably done it on purpose, just to be able to watch Natesa and laugh. It wouldn't have surprisdd the girl, really. It was understandable that people watched what she did and laughed, because it was ridiculous.
Just then, just after she'd ungracefully risen to her feet, she saw a figure coming toward her, and a concerned voice rang in her ears. It was Izarra, the woman that Natesa had met not long before this. Even though she hadn't known the older hybrid for long, she'd already gained some trust in her and admiration for her. Neither of them liked what they were! She'd found a bit of common ground. However, that didn't stop her being ashamed that the elder girl had seen what happened.
"Y-Y-Yeah." she responded to Izarra's worried question, a little above a mumble. Enough to be heard, but easily missed. As the cut was noticed, the fourth year nodded, before ducking her head in shame at her own clumsiness. The kiss, though. She wasn't expecting that. It was just so... strangely innocent. And the way Izarra had handled her arm was like she was holding a piece of fine china, easily broken. Which Natesa was, even if it wasn't literal, what with the vampire abilities.
She gave the other as big a smile as she could muster, which still looked pretty embarrassed and weak. "Th-Thank you, r-r-really." she stammered out, which felt horrible. Ugh, why couldn't she learn to fricking speak? Or, better yet, why didn't she just... not? Become a turtle. Turtles didn't have to do anything at all, and they certainly didn't have to talk to others. If only that was possible. It sonded far more appealing than being in a situation like this.

Mumbling. Oh, how she hated it when people mumbled. Izarra was finding it ever so difficult to keep back her sneer of distaste but, it seemed she managed to. How wonderful was she! She could kiss herself for her achievement. Izarra returned the smile that she was given to her from the blue haired girl. Although, hers was not nearly as feeble looking- Zara was sure that her own smile was bright and beautiful, something that’d dazzle and charm anyone with eyes. Of course, if anyone said otherwise Zara would take their eyes from them because after all, what was the point in having eyes if you were blind to everything you saw? There was none. And eyeballs were funny little things. Squidgy yet strangely hard. “It’s okay, schatz.” She replied to the thanks. Gott her stammer was annoying though. Really annoying. Why couldn’t the little thing talk properly? What was her problem? Was her tongue all knotted? Zara was incredibly tempted to reach into the hybrid’s mouth, pull her tongue out and check. It wasn’t hard to speak normally. Loads of people did it fine every day! What was this stupid hybrid’s problem? Was she mentally challenged? Ew. Maybe Zara should just put an end to the creature’s miserable existence once and for all? It’d be a kindness and Zara could be kind sometimes. She swore she could...sometimes. But, then again, there was something about the girl she liked. Zara could play with her and it had been so long since the hybrid had had a best friend. Her last one didn’t last very long…Zara internally frowned. Some people just couldn’t survive being stabbed in the stomach five times. It was ridiculous really. Made Zara mad. What kind of best friend just goes and dies on you in the middle of a game? A shit one that’s what. She deserved to die. Weak bitch.
With a big, wide smile on her face Zara took Natesa’s good hand and towed her back over to one of the picnic benches “You really should sit back down for a bit, blau fee. The fall must be quite shock to your system.” Zara sat down, fixing her flower headband before ushering the girl to take a seat again, next to her by patting the space eagerly.
Izarra looked up at the other hybrid “Plus. I’ve been ever so lonely out here by myself, I’m glad for the company?” She lingered on the subject purposely and looked down at the bench avoiding eye contact to create a sense of insecurity. Then proceeded to tracing the grains in the wooden bench before she looked up again “I hate being alone. It makes me sad.” Zara stuck out her bottom lip ever so slightly to form a small pout. Her soft, light green eyes appeared watery and after a moment of pouting she chewed at her bottom lip, looked back down at the bench again for the briefest of moments before looking up again at her new best friend, putting on a smile as if forced and eagerly patted the space beside her again.

She was still internally cursing herself for doing something so stupid. Of course, it had to be her, didn't it? She didn't possess the grace or agility that others of her various kinds did. She couldn't go anywhere, she swore to her goddess, without managing to hurt herself or make an idiot out of herself in some way or another. It must have been really annoying for everyone else to have to see, because it was just so repetitive. Every day, without fail, something cringe-worthy would befall the naturally unfortunate cross breed. It was just how the world worked. But she couldn't have been the only one who was tired of it, surely?
So understandably, she didn't expect any sympathy or pity from those around her. In fact, she expected just the opposite - ridicule, teasing, laughter. But she didn't get any of that, that she heard. No, just a very concerned friend of hers. Was Izzara really a friend to her though? She hadn't know her for very long at all. But she seemed very kind, and very concerned for the teen's welfare. Wasn't that what friends were like with each other? Or was that just basic human kindness? Natesa found it hard to differentiate between the two sometimes, because of her lack of social ability. She'd take it as the latter for now, although it did make her warm toward the older woman a bit more than she already had.
She had to admit, though, she was ever so hesitant about sitting with her acquaintance as the other mixed race had so eagerly proposed. If she was honest, all Natesa wanted to do was hurry by and act like she hadn't made a complete and utter fool out of herself in front of someone she barely knew. The knowledge that Izarra had seen her trip, seen her hurt herself, actually made her feel a little worse than the fall did. She really wasn't sure if she should; the idea made her feel a little bit queasy, when she thought about it.
But the sad look on her fellow hybrid's face had to outweigh all that. Of course, Natesa was worried, and with fair reason. But she couldn't, she couldn't leave Izarra out here alone if it made her so upset. Even if being in the company of others made Natesa feel uncomfortable. Natesa was not an unkind person - she owned a heart. And even though she hated that sometimes, she was ultimately glad that she did. "W-Well..." the girl contemplated, before hesitantly sitting down next to Izarra on the bench. "I s-suppose that a little while w-wouldn't hurt." And it wouldn't. She just had to stay for a while, that was all. She'd much rather be unhappy than make someone else unhapppy because of her selfishness.
