Silver liked the silence that was building between him and Aine. It was a nice change from all the noise the human made when he was around. He knew they couldn't help themselves. He just had that type of aura or personality that made every human either run or swoon. Not that Silver like either.

Then he turned and smiled at Aine when she asked him his age. Would he lie? Or would he tell her the truth? Well, if he lied, why would he have done so, right? "Me? Well, I may not look like it but I am more than a hundred years old already. But from another being's point of view, I am forever a nineteen year old boy." he said and chuckled.

Sometime Silver thought of it as an insult when someone older looking would underestimate him. But then he goes around and proves them wrong. Well, not all the time but just around beings that don't run away screaming after he did prove himself. He smiled at Aine, "Tempted as I am, I shall not ask about yours. Its rude for a gentleman to ask a lady how old she is." he said as he waved at a few students passing by them.

I hugged my books closer to me as we walked looking for a bit of comfort. I was feeling slightly nervous for some reason. "You're over one-hundred? Woah..." I couldn't believe it, he was as old or maybe even older than my mum. My mom was almost two-hundred so maybe she was older.

I wondered if any of the girls around heard him tell me his age. "Well, you certainly don't look or act your age so I guess 19 forever is a good way to look at it. It's okay I'm 16. I've been told I look young for my age. On account of me being so small. I don't really liked being called small it makes me feel small... I like being called petite... or fun-sized!" "I giggled at my last remark. Hopefully, Silver would think it funny too.

Silver had to chuckle. Fun-sized? That type of description never had passed his thoughts. "Well, you indeed do look younger than your age. It usually is a complimented to the female if they are thought younger than they really are, right? At least from all the ladies I have met through the years." he commented and then remembered that she had complimented him in a way.

"Thank you for thinking that I do not look my age even if you already know why.. And as for not acting my own age, it is simply because I have already mastered the art of adjusting my personality to suit the generation I am trying to blend in. I remembered my first day here... If the principal had not introduced me to the class, I would have not been taken seriously by them. But its fun to just be similarly like them... It makes them listen to me better than they do to the rest of the staffs." he said and smiled.

It was a compliment? I always thought it was a little rude when people guessed my age and said 13 or 14. I even got 12. "Not to a teenage girl it's not..." I didn't want to sound rude, but I didn't like looking young. I didn't like people thinking I was younger than I was.

I liked the way Silver talked it was really pretty. His wording choice and what he said was nice. Plus, he was kinda cute so I liked him. I knew I would never be able to really like him because student teacher relationships were frowned upon and practically forbidden. Plus, I didn't really want to date him. I just thought he was cute and I liked the way he spoke.

I kept nodding my head agreeing with Silver. It was good being relatable. "That's good. I usually listen better to people who are more relatable."

Silver thought for a moment and slowly nodded. Well, she was right. For a teenager to be thought younger than she really was would be really annoying. "Well, I think you look just lovely the way you are. No age would change it." he told her and smiled. He shifted the bag on his shoulder since there were humans still passing by. Silver led her to cross the small gate that led to the non-human side of the campus.

He smiled at her, "From what I have observed, it is more easier to teach students who get along with their professors than those who teach and do not connect with the students." he said as smiled at her just a little wider. "If there is peace in the classroom, I foresee no problems in the long run. Don't you think so?" he asked her.

I'm glad Silver agreed with me. He had to look younger. He didn't have a choice. My body just thought it would be funny for me to not grow much larger. To leave me small and looking young. I would probably look like this till I was 100. Never growing much more.

Silver was such a gentleman. Not many guys nowadays would take the time out of their day to walk someone to where they were going. They didn't even open the door much anymore. Silver did all those things. I guess he was just old fashioned though considering his age. His age didn't bother me much. I knew people much older so I guess it didn't really surprise me when he said his age.

I noticed I wasn't blushing as much now that I felt more comfortable. I nodded in agreement as he spoke. "Yeah!" I just let Silver talk. Something he seemed to like to do. I liked to be quiet.

Silver smiled when Aine agreed with him. When he saw the top of the towers (thanks to his zoom in eyesight), he knew that his little chat with the interesting girl was going to end soon. "So, how are you enjoying your classes here? Are they interesting or just plain boring?" he asked lightly, trying to come up with a topic. It would have been rude if they just walked in silence. Everyone might think he was being a prick which Silver was so wasn't.

He walked a bit slower since he was trying to make his free time as light as he could. He either was going to roam the grounds (again) or bother the other staff at the staff room (which he had not done yet).

I could tell we were getting close as Silver slowed down. "They're mostly good I guess. Some boring. I really like my creative writing class and art I like art too. I like painting. I mostly just paint blobs though. Very brightly colored blobs! I like bright colors as you can probably tell by my outfit. My favorite color is yellow!" Once I got started talking sometimes there was no stopping me. I could blabber on for hours if no one stopped me and, well, if I felt comfortable enough. I thought maybe the more I talked the more time I'd get to spend with Silver. Even though I knew that wasn't totally true. We'd have to go our separate ways at some point. "Do you like art?"

Silver smiled as Aine shared what she liked. Well, he had seen her fondness for the color yellow. "Well, the color does suit you. It makes you more... Angelic in some sense. Like an angel in a garden with yellow flowers being blown over by the wind." Silver didn't know how to describe Aine right but what he came up with was the closes thing to what he wanted to really say.

Silver had not complimented a young woman in a while so his way of saying she was amazing would be different from the usual way men say it. Silver had not wooed any woman in a long time since it didnt seem like it mattered. And Aine was like the very best younger sister he had not have close.

The blushing started again as he called me angelic. I would never think of myself that way. I knew myself too well. "I'm definitely not angelic. I've done too many things. Not really bad things but I caused people pain."

I knew Silver was just trying to be sweet but sometimes I couldn't really see past the words. My thoughts just went straight to the negative. I couldn't help it. That was just how I was. What I became after my dad died. I always tried to look for the good in people but my mind always seemed to find the bad.
