He sort of did just disappeared at the drop of the hat, didn't he?
Gone for like a month or so, not really giving some of the people he... sort of befriended at Northvale his number, so they could contact him over in Spain. Nope. Wasn't he a loser? Honestly, did Ze have people who were his friends? He wasn't there long, at the school- only person he could considered something close to that was Alex, his roommate. There was that... sorcerer girl, whose name slipped his mind and Andy-boy, but he only seen them once or twice and that didn't really count, did it?
God, he was a loser. When did this happen?
Well... either way, it gots to change, he thought bitterly, as he opened the door to his dorm room- hopefully, none his roommates were in. Or his bed was occupied by someone else. Or worse... his bed occupied by some idiot and Alex- not that it wasn't the first time it happen. He bumped the door to open wider, as he tried to the mess of things in his arms from falling. Particularly the camera he had. It was a little gift that he was given the first day he arrived to his Abuelita's little house- filled with pictures of seashore, his grandmother, and a couple of friends he made when over there. Nothing too special but now...
He became a photo-whore, apparently. Ze gotten into the habit of taking picture of everything- how can he not? After fiddling with photo-cropping and editing sites, and uploading a few online, he grown fawn of taking every and all pictures of things. It was just asdfhjk fun. Don't judge.
Well, thank God he didn't discover instagram yet.
Ze's bed seem nice and organized, and doesn't look as if its been slept on. Good. He dump his things onto the floor (except his camera that he hanged onto), feeling accomplished to finally making to here- best part, nobody was around.
Which meant he could nap. Something that he need, despite his jetlag not being that bad. Maybe it would be smart to, but... Instead of that, he grabbed his camera and started to flip through photos. They weren't professional in the least bit, but they made him smile. Scratching his slight beard that was growing in- his grandmother didn't want him to shave and to tell the truth, he didn't mind it as much.
Dressed in sleeveless hoodie and nothing more than a plain white-beater, and black jeans. And sure as hell, wasn't going to wiggle out of jeans for comfort- simply kicking off his shoes, and placing his camera somewhere of safety, he shut his eyes. He'll unpack later- if someone trip over his stuff? Not his problem, nope.

Fucking Aether. Alex was struggling to get his little airy head around it completely but, fuck, he was going to France. He'd never been to the land of baguettes, blue cheese and berets before but he'd always wanted to go! Oooh, he wanted to do tourist things like visit the Eiffel Tower and, like, Disneyland, man! Oh, fuck, would Tobias take him there? Maybe he would if he asked nicely enough. Or whinged long enough. He bet that Toby secretly wanted to visit that attraction park anyway and, awwh, he'd probably look adorable some souvenir Mickey Mouse ears on.
Alex burst into the room excitedly, creating a bit of ruckus as the door swung open, banged against the metal trash can behind it, and was shut again with something that was almost a careless slam. He didn't think to be quiet because he rarely ever saw any of his roomies in anyway the few times he was here himself. It took a few moments to realize that Ze's bed was occupied by a sleeping Zephyr. He spotted the guy after resurfacing from under his bed with one of his messenger bags. "Hey Zeeee." He chirruped, throwing the bag on his bed and gliding over to his wardrobe. "Long time no see, tío. Y'lookin' pretty tanned. Caught some good ol' sun?"
Shit. What did he take? Alex stepped back from his wardrobe and stared at the tall cabinet that had to be close to bursting point with all the clothes he had in here. This was going to be a hard decision. Harder than the daily morning dilemma between toast and cereal. First, he did an actual smart thing and grabbed his phone suffocating in his too-tight jean pockets and set about looking for what the weather was like in France this time of year. "Wakey-wakey, sunshine." Alex sing-songed as he checked out the general weather in France. "Y'gotta help me pick an outfit or two." Fair enough, he'd probably ignore Ze's opinion if it went against his own but whatever. At least he'd pretend to care.

Of course. No, not like he needed the nap or anything. Oh how he missed those afternoon siestas at his Nana's house, and lazing around nonstop because he can. But damn it- reality had to hit, and he realized... he's back at school. And he didn't like that. At all. Well, then again, the people were cool- just school work and how he can't possibility of catching some z's in his dorm room...
Not going to happen.
Or so he thought. Rolling to his side, his initial response to Alex's cheery greeting was small frown and a mutter of "Sup." Rubbing the drowsiness in his eyes and scratching the slight stubble, get rolled over to face the cripper brunette. Hm...? A bag? Was he going somewhere? "Yeah... I bet I am... went down to Spain for a bit, to visit my grandma and all. Oh! And--"Wait. Uh. Alex said something about outfits...
"Help you pick out an outfit? Are you going somewhere? Nawh, dude- I just got back!" Well, this was a shocker. But then again- Ze disappeared without a trace. But cut him some lack... straightening up, his eyebrows furrowing together. He glanced from the bag on his roommate's bed to Alex, "I also got photos. Wanna see some...?" He reached over for his camera, and held it up as an offer. A bait- now that he was up, no thanks to Alex, he should have the decency to at least see some pictures and hear some stories. At least.

Hmmm. The weather in France during May was a damn sight better than it was here but apparently it wasn't that good all the time. It was warmish with the odd hot day so a jacket or two was a must, along with a couple of t-shirts, his favourite jeans and boxers. The nice ones. The ones he wore when getting lucky was a possibility. He could shove a scarf in his bag too. Not forgetting one of his vests. Aether. Who would Alex even be without a vest or scarf?
"Y'went to España? Joder, you kept that one a secret, din't you?" Alex huffed, pushing the hangers laden with clothes to one side with a scratchy metallic sound of the hooks scraping against the metal as he browsed through them. Mierda. He had too many clothes. He was finally starting to realize that when he had to downsize to what would fit in a bag. "Y'shoulda told meeee. Tha's my home land, tío. M'from Toledo. Y'go there?"
Looking over his shoulder at his roommate, Alex grinned: "Yeah. M'off to France for a, uh, little while." Well. To be truthful, he had no idea how long he planned to go for or even if he wanted to come back. He had this rather depressing feeling that not many would really miss him should he decide to just not return to Northvale. "Y'ever been t'France, Zeze?"
And no Alex did not want to see photos. Especially if they were of his Nanna. Who wanted to see pictures of old, wrinkled ladies? Noooot him. He answered Ze's offer by returning his attention back to his bursting wardrobe. "Nah... next time maybe? M'kinda in a bit of a hurry. The guy who is gonna drive me is gonna be down there in, like..." The air fae trailed off to steal a glance of his small wristwatch. "...well. He's gonna be there soon. I ain't got time, lo siento." Ooh! He wanted to take that grey, tweed vest. And that checkered shirt. It went well with that red scarf he didn't buy too long ago. Alex started pulling out the chosen, lucky clothes and tossed them onto his bed.

He shrugged, not really sure how to answer that. He did keep it as a secret, pretty much, didn't he? But then again... not like he had any good friends to tell. Except.. maybe Alex? Then again- he was more of an annoying 'roommate' than friend.
...Okay. Maybe a tiny bit of a friend? Or at least someone to chat to. "Not really- my grandma lives close to the coast, outside a town called... um, Gandia? Yeah." His smile grew a bit more, "But the beaches were beautiful and so were the people~" Ah, beautiful was putting it pleasant. Some of the people, women and guys, were just... indescribably hot. While his grandmother would do more than just pull his ear for fraternizing with any humans- and God forbid with men, too. For her sake, though, he didn't even sleep with anyone, as much as he wanted to... and there was that one case of making out on the beach, but what can he say? People have enthusiastic ways to say goodbye heheh.
...France? Wait... France? "What? France?" Well, this was a surprised. He could understand taking a road trip out of town would be ideal but... going to France? While school in session? Though, its hypocritical on his part, since he disappeared for quite a bit. "Nah, but wouldn't mind going to Disneyland there. Or... like, the Eiffel Tower? Or Paris. Paris looks pretty." He trailed off, feeling a bit off-put by this. Man, he was planning to drag the air faerie later for... some fun. Or something. Ze needed some friends- but of course, the one person that he... uh, sorta knew, was going away. That bites.
"C'mon? I got some other pictures- some from when I was at the beach and all~" While Ze did enjoy his own, personal bubbles- didn't mean he wasn't against invading others. He hopped off his bed, and crept closer, "I mean, I just got back- please? I mean, its not like he's banging on the door and all. A few minutes wouldn't hurt a soul~" He.... in better words, glomped the roommate from behind, dangling the camera in front of him, "And since your leaving, and I like fiddling with this thing, wanna snap a few shots before you leave?"

Gandía? Yeah, Alex had heard of that place. Most Spaniards knew of it, especially after that revolting television programme 'Gandía Shore'. Ugh. That show had been as vile as the other 'Shore' programmes before it. All about a group of selfish, spoilt, self-loving womanizers and whores who worked at a chiringüito of a day and partied of a night. It was sad to say that Alex had watched ever single neuron-killing episode of it. Just to, y'know, have a laugh. Not because he, like, found one of the guys hot or anything like that. "Never been there but I heard it's nice. Y'go anywhere else?" Alex asked, still half inside his wardrobe.
Rummaging about, Alex rolled his eyes as he searched for the red scarf. "Zeze... the tower, Disney... that's all in Paris anyway." He snorted, resuming his quest. "I don't think Iw wanna head there though. Somewhere near the coast." Fair enough. Alex couldn't swim. He'd never really bothered to try to learn and he had no intention to. He wasn't exactly scared to paddle though. It was just being out of his depth that got him spooked.
Aha! There was the elusive, little fucker! Peeping cheekily out between some old clothes he no longer used piled at the bottom. Grinning in quiet triumph, Alex reached in andstarted to tug on the end of it, pulling the snake of red fabric out. Although the fae had clearly said that he wasn't interested and was goinmg to pass up on seeing his holiday snaps, it seemed as though Zephyr had other ideas.
"Dude. Y'don't know this guy. He will get so fuckin' pissed if I'm late." Plus Toby was going to be the one driving so Alex didn't want to keep him waiting too long. Just in case the short-tempered wizard decided to take off on a solo trip instead of in company. Alex wasn't going to bus it to France. No way, José.
"Ugh!" Alex grinted as he was tackled. Yes. Tackled. The willow boy stumbled forward from the persistent fire fae unceremoniously throwing himself at his back. "Z-Ze!" He spluttered, a bit ticked off with the dude clinging on to him. A heavy sigh escaped his lips, like a groan of frustration, and he scowled gentlyover his shoulder at his roommate. And they said he was the overbearing one?
"Are y'naked in them? No? Then m'not interested." Alex started to wriggle out of his graps and away from the tempting offer of flaunting his more photogenic side for the camera. "No, man. C'mon. Gerrof me. Aether. Let me see them laterrrrrr!"

To the truth- the whole truth, Gandia wasn't as fun as it should of been. Part of the reason being that his grandmother was weary and overall, anti-humans-vampire-werewolves-sirens-and-any-other-races; while she didn't abhor some races as much as other, there was no way in hell was she willing to interact with any of them. Living outside the city, it was a bit annoying to leave his grandmother house and into town, using her old car that he nickname 'Old unreliable'- you never know when it could break down, but frankly, he would rather take the risk than hang out his wifi-less Grandma's house.
And... to tell the truth, it was worth it in the end. He'll spare you the details for the reason why it was, heheh.
"Pft, France is France, dude." He shrugged, "Ain't nobody got time to figure out where's where. At least I don't." He was never the geologist- and never will be. Like hell he would sit around, staring at maps and whatever else geologist do for a living. Nope. Rather live in ignorance of where was where... which, in hindsight, would probably screw him over in the end.
Hm, whatever, that was not important. It was time to bother his roommate~
He didn't let go. Pft, why would he? He chuckled under his breath and gave a simple in reply. "I don't know who ever this guy your going with- thus, I don't really care, y'know." The corner of his lips curled into an amused smile, "C'monnn, lemme show you just a couple? Please?" Really, all this begging would be useless... Sigh. But still, it was the attempt that couldn't.
"Pft, yeah- like 'm the type to do that, Alex." Switching on his camera in the process of clinging to the smaller brunette, Ze was unaware of the fact that his finger was carelessly on the button. "So hold still, damn it- one photo not gonna kill ya~"
Or the fact he set it to flash.
Well, you can guess what happen next. "So ju--- oh fucking hell!" Accidentally hitting the button, a momentary of blindness kicked in as the flash hit- leading to Ze's cursing. He stumbled back, blinking up a storm as he gave a small laugh, and glance at the photo that popped up on the digital screen of the camera. It was canted, odd-angled shot and his fingers in the way- but.. if you look closely enough, there was a part of Alex's face off to a side. "...uh... I swear I take better photos- another one? Without the flash?"

"Well! Alex scoffed. "Y'should care!" Because, really. What if Ze made him late and ruined his roadtrip for him? With a little growling noise, Alex started to twist around in Ze's arms in a bid to free himself. "I said noooo!" Okay. Alex was starting to get properly ticked off now. If he wanted to, he could always, y'know, use his powers to blast the guy off him or something. Although he was trying to refrain from using them on people in general seeing as it was exactly, like, fair or nice to do things like that.
FLASH!
"F-Fuck! ZE!" Alex barked, shoving the other teen away and taking advantage of their momentary blindness. Nyehhh. His eeeeyes! The air fae rubbed at them with his fists while he gritted his teeth, annoyed, and his face the slightest bit pink. He really wasn't impressed.
And Ze honestly wanted to try to take another picture? Nope. Alex had to get ready.
His jaw clenched, Alex gave the other fae what was supposed to be a dark look. Intimidating and that said 'no'. But, it was probably far from that. But whatever. "No. No more photos, tío. Now lemme get changed." Alex grabbed for a navy, V-neck and black skinnies to put on, along with an over-sized, striped sweater that he found cute. Pfft. Ze wasn't going to make him late just because he had a new toy to fawn all over.
Alex fired the blue-eyed teen another cold look and kicked off his suede shoes. "We'll photo all y'want if and when I get back." He said with sharp tone. "Jus' not now. Vale, tío?"

Honestly, who couldn't giggle at that. Sure, it was childish but childish-ness was something that he excelled at. He tried to hold it in- really, he did. But trying wasn't the same as doing, was it?
So, with a hand trying to cover his mouth, he giggled
[/i] snickered at Alex and his pissy expression. Ze held his camera up again, with a grin, "C'mon, dude!" His smile grew bigger, having a finger on the button, "The camera loves you~" Okay... maybe he should stop. Alex could seriously did look piss. In a funny non-threatening way. Really, he looked more adorable than that. He gave a casual shrug and honestly- did that matter? Alex wouldn't hurt him. "Cheeeeesssssseeeeee~!" He snapped another photo, another flash going off followed by another round of tittering. "Okay, now you can go get dressed~" Glancing at the photo as showed up, he pressed down the amused smile and snickers, "Though, I would prefer one with a smiling face, dude~"[/size] [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Ohohoho. This guy cracked him up. Alex's eyes narrowed to dangerous slits, his glare becoming more catlike now with his sharp eyebrows. He didn't appreciate photos being taken of him against his wishes (but at the same time it forever flattered him that someone wanted to do so, so there was a part of him with conflicted feelings). At least whatever picture flashed up on that diminute screen had to be better of whatever picture Tobias got of him the first night they supposedly met. Alex had been wrecked and didn't even remember punching his contact details into Peanut's phone, let alone attempt to make himself decent enough for a photo. Someday he was going to find that photo. And kill it. Kill it hard.
"You're such... a butt." Okay, insults weren't coming strong today. But whatever. It was the glare that mattered. "Take another picture and I'll shove that thing up yer ass. Seriously." And that threat was possibly more empty than Alex's head. But Ze didn't have to know thaaaat.
Alex gathered up his clothes again with a quiet huff and plodded off to the bathroom. Usually, he'd just, like, change in the main dorm area but with Ze armed with a camera and his annoying boyishness, Alex wasn't in the mood. He gave the fire fae one last look before closing the door behind him a bit more loudly than needed. He wasn't in a good mood. And he wanted Ze to know that.
