There were too many 'thingys' and Brent was left feeling more lost than before. Robert didn't seem to be sorting anything out, he'd just said something really vague. That wasn't part of the deal. "You do it." Brent whined. "I'm the one that has to actually wax your legs." The deal was a fair one and there was no way that Brent was just going to blatantly disregard it like that. Robert was older than him, he must've had more waxing experience.

Robert made a big show of huffing in annoyance, even though he wasn't really that annoyed. He'd had a feeling that Brent would't understand; he was too young to have any clue what to do and apparently wasn't clever enough to decipher the siren's perfectly clear instructions. He held up the pot of wax, because he was certain what that was, unlike pretty much everything else which he was mainly just putting educated guesses on. "This needs to be warmed up." He knew Brent could warm it for him, if he could be bothered. "Warm it for me, pleaase? I'll do the rest?" He gave the crossbreed a pleading look which was sure to win him over. His looks never failed; he was just that amazing.

God, did Brent have to do everything for this guy? Well, since he was the one here that possessed the abilities of a fire faerie, Brent guessed that Robert did have a good enough reason for getting Brent to warm up the wax. He glared at the siren, immune to the pleading face - it had been seen before too many times.

"Ugh, fine." Brent growled, snatching the pot of wax from his friend and then enclosing it within his palms as he used his powers to heat the substance. He frowned across at Robert. "So do I just do this until it bursts into flames or what?" Hopefully that wouldn't happen because Brent wanted to put this stuff to some 'use' since he'd bought/been given it for no good reason whatsoever.

Robert could see that Brent wasn't too happy about being practically used as a heater, but he did it without too much fuss. "Nonononono!" Robert gabbled in return to Brent's query; he'd really rather the younger man didn't set fire to the wax, considering how the siren really wanted to wax his legs. It had to be done, otherwise no-one would fall for their 'so very heterosexual' act and it would all be for nothing. He couldn't be having that now, could he? Raising his eyebrow at the crossbreed skeptically, he added hesitantly, "That's probably enough?"

Brent had to laugh at how alarmed Robert appeared to be at the prospect of him setting the wax alight. He wasn't the best at controlling his powers by a long shot but he had enough sense to know how far to go before something like that would happen (most of the time - there were a few exceptions).

Now his job as a make-shift microwave oven was over, he shoved the pot in Robert's face so he'd take it and sort out the other stuff. "Careful, it's hot. Like me." he grinned, unable to help himself. The amount of puns he'd made about his hotness was ridiculous.

Robert rolled his eyes dramatically at Brent's 'hotness' joke, although didn't deny its truthfulness. He tenderly took the pot out of the crossbreed's hand, semi-worried that his hand would melt or something considering the warning he'd recieved. However, when his hand continued in its role as a solid, Jan figured he was pretty safe and got the paper strips ready, along with the little spatula thing. Unscrewing the lid, he did his best to avoid getting wax on the bedsheets as he took up the slow process of putting the wax on the strips.

After a while- when he'd just worked in complete silence- Robert had finally nearly finished. His efforts weren't completely successful, due to the terrible state of his co-ordination, but there was more wax on the paper things than there was on the bed, so he considered that a pass. "There. All done. Waxy time now~" The siren threw all the papers in the direction of Brent, so he'd definitely understand what had been said.

Brent flopped backwards on his bed so he could stare up at the ceiling while Robert sorted out stuff with the wax. He resisted any urges to start whining and complaining about how the siren was taking way too long because he feared that would make him take longer because he was an annoying arsewipe like that.

He sat up again when Robert had finished and thrown some papery, wax-covered stuff at him. Waxing legs seemed to take a lot of time and effort, it was no wonder that this stuff had been sat in his cupboard, collecting dust for god knew how long. After sighing deeply, Brent grabbed Robert's legs and put them over his lap before decorating them with all the papers. "This is stupid." He frowned down at the paper-covered legs resting on his thighs.

Robert giggled at Brent's apprehension. He couldn't blame him for being a tad concerned for his welfare; after all, waxing any man's legs was a pretty damn big task, let alone his. If they were any hairier, they'd be fucking forests and that was no lie. The siren frowned as Brent started to mutter this task's pointlessness- while he may have been telling the truth, Jan wasn't prepared to hear this. "Don't you dare say that. S'not stupid. S'worthwhile." And it would be. It totally would be: everyone they met would fall for their act after this- they'd probably never know that he was even a man. His disguise would be that good.

Brent had dared to say it though because it kind of was stupid and not worthwhile. However, it was going to help an awful lot with their act so Brent was just going to have to roll with it for now. It was the little things that made a big difference, wasn't it? And now was sure to be a prime example of that. Brent sighed dramatically, "Stupid and not worthwhile. Like your hair." Now that he'd distracted the siren by insulting him, Brent ripped off one of the papers with a high-pitched giggle.

Honestly, Brent could stop being such a diva. It wasn't him that was waxing his legs, he was just helping; would he rather be the one getting practically half his legs ripped off just for one puny little reason? And now the crossbreed was making fun of his hair- Robert was sorry, but that was a step too far. "Actually, my hair is-- Shit!" Jan yelled as the first strip was yanked off his leg without any warning. He now had a large-ish rectangular patch of bare skin, which made the siren happy- even though his leg was already starting to throb and he still had practically a thousand and one more strips to get through. This seriously better be worth it because his legs were gonna ache like hell after this.
