Dom came to the club early so he could brief the bartenders on how he ran things. He hates mistakes but wasn't strict. He'd forgive you thrice but after that, kiss your job good bye. He was looking at the people around him and smiled a little, "So, I'm Dominic Stirling Hale and the new Bar Manager here at The Gateway. Last night's work performance was good and I hope everyone would keep up the good work. However... I want to challenge everyone to do better. So I came up with an idea and the bosses seem to like it too." he said and took out a white envelope from his back pocket.
"In my hands in a white envelope with a fifty dollar bonus. This will be given to the bar tender or the waiter whose performance improves the best. However, there are rules. You can't sabotage the others just to make yourselves look better. Trust me, I will know." he said and tucked the envelope back in his pocket. Then he turned back to the others, "We have an hour before we open so let's get this started." he said and everyone cheered enthusiastically. ††††Clothes:†††† Click Here‡‡‡‡Notes:‡‡‡‡ I Missed You!!!¤¤¤¤Tagged:¤¤¤¤ Fauve Trudel

Just a few weeks into the job, and Fauve already had set expectations for her behavior pretty damn low. She liked to be sure people weren't thinking she was going to be some model employee, didn't want to disappoint anyone. They'd come to expect she would come in at least five minutes late, that she'd be (functionally) drunk halfway through her shift if not at the start of it, and that she would cuss out any customers that gave her lip. She kept the job, though, because they also came to expect her to out-sell any of the other bartenders in the joint. If there was one thing Fauve knew how to do, it was getting people to drink. And that was also her excuse for getting plastered on the job. People drank more if you took shots with them - and the customers bought her drinks, too, so there was that. Of course, she waited until they were good and smashed to add that bit to their bill. Drunks didn't care what they had to pay for booze, that she knew first hand. She showed up ten minutes before the bar opened, tipsy but it wasn't noticeable unless you smelled it on her - which was definitely a possibility. "Allons-y, y'all," she called as she strolled in through the back door. "Someone clock me in already? What'd I miss?" One of the other bartenders motioned for her to be quiet and jerked his head toward the front of the bar. Damn. That was right - they had a new manager today. Fauve knew there was a reason she wasn't going to start drinking 'til three that afternoon. She had wanted to be more on time. "Merde," she muttered, and shuffled toward the front of the bar. And then she stopped dead in her tracks, a stream of swears spilling from her lips, a mix of French and English and something in-between. Gren. outfit!

Dom was busy helping the bartenders set up and finish polishing the glasses. He was laughing at something one of the waiters said and the rest laughed with him. He was having fun and was witnessing how different England was from Germany. He preferred England better because it was a place that he didn't have to fight to survive the night and wake up without a bruise in the morning. Ten minutes before the bar opened, Dom looked around and saw someone so familiar to him that his world stopped revolving. Fauve.
"Fauve?" was all Dom could even say. First Oriel, now Fauve. Though Oriel had told him that Fauve worked at the club as well, Dom didn't know that he was going to see another family so soon. A waitress approached Fauve and said, "We have a new bar manager, Trudel. His name is Dominic Stirling Hale and his is sooooo cool!! I wonder if his single... Anyway, there is a contest that Mr. Charming had shared. At the end of the week, someone who performed well would have a fifty dollar bonus. I'm aiming to win it and ask him out. Toodles." the waitress left, not noticing that Dom was staring at Fauve and vice versa. ††††Clothes:†††† Click Here‡‡‡‡Notes:‡‡‡‡ I Missed You!!!¤¤¤¤Tagged:¤¤¤¤ Fauve Trudel

As she stared, Fauve was vaguely aware of a strangely intrusive woman gabbing way too close to her. Fauve cut her off halfway through, placing her hand over the woman's jawing face and shoving her out of the way. "Amount I care is shit to nothin', beb," she murmured, distracted.
What in the unholy name of God was going on here? She'd known a lot of magic folk were making their way to Northvale in recent years. Running into Ory had been a hell of a shock, but to find another one of her long-lost siblings, and to find him like this? For him to just show up where she worked, no warning, no phone call, no nothing!
She took a few unsteady steps toward the ghost that had appeared before her until they were just a few feet apart. Without warning, she cocked a fist back and rammed it hard into his shoulder. "C'est sa couillon!" she snapped at him, immediately afterward grabbing him by the back of his neck and yanking him into a rough hug, her face buried against her big brother's neck. "Beck ma tchew, feet pue tan! I thought you was dead," she mumbled against his shirt collar.
notes: C'est sa couillon = You're an idiot (but a bit more vulgar). Beck ma tchew, feet pue tan = Kiss my ass, you goddamn son of a bitch.

Dom was taken by surprise when Fauve punched his shoulder and buried her face in his neck. He had to smile and hold his sister tightly. "Ssshhh.... sich beruhigen, Fauve..." he whispered in her ear. Dom understood why Fauve did what she did and Dom didn't mind. Fauve was his favorite sibling followed by Oriel then the twins. Char comes after and then Bijoux. "I'm sorry... So sorry..." he kept saying over and over again as he held his sister tight in his arms. He didn't mean to cause his sister this pain nor did he desired to meet Fauve this way: in front of the other staffs. He pulled Fauve to the office the owners gave Dom. ††††Clothes:†††† Click Here‡‡‡‡Notes:‡‡‡‡ sich beruhigen- calm down...¤¤¤¤Tagged:¤¤¤¤ Fauve Trudel

Once in the privacy of Grenier's office, Fauve took the opportunity to step back and hit him again - a solid slap to the back of his head. "Where in the unholy merde of God's green earth have you been?" she snarled at him. "What, you too busy to find your kin for two centuries? Too busy to stop back home for five damn minutes?! I went back all the damn time lookin' for you coillons! You know Maw and Paw is dead? Did you even go back to figure that out?"
Maybe it was anger over two centuries of being on her own or maybe it was the alcohol in her veins, but she felt her face getting hot, voice getting louder as she bitched her brother out. "Char's prob'ly dead too, Ory was livin' like a goddamn human, and no one's heard hide nor of the others!"

Dom was shocked when Fauve had slapped him again. But he didn't dwell on it. He managed to sniff Fauve and got the idea that she was drunk. But Dom knew that he had to keep his now short temper in check. He allowed Fauve to scream at him and let her say what she wanted to say. He knew he had to let her. And when she was done, Dom sighed and sat down, signalling her to sit down as well. He was serious this time around.
"Fauve, for the last two centuries, I have been in Germany. I stayed there, fighting for my survival and saving money to pay for my living,if you ever called it living, and the investigators I hired to look for you guys. I couldn't leave Germany when my arm and leg were were able be used. So I stayed. But I never gave up the dream of returning home. There wasn't a day that I didn't think of you guys and seeing you again."
Dom said as he sighed again. He couldn't tell her the whole truth. Not yet. Dom had to find them all first. "About Maw and Paw... I had been told that they weren't seen after they ran into the woods... This is what brought me out of Germany... To find you all. I managed to gather all the information I need and I pinpointed you here in Northvale. Finding Ory here was a bonus but I came to find you first."
He added as he leaned back on his chair. Waiting for Fauve to either scream more or calm down. ††††Clothes:†††† Click Here‡‡‡‡Notes:‡‡‡‡ I Missed You!!!¤¤¤¤Tagged:¤¤¤¤ Fauve Trudel

Oh for Chrissakes, of course he had some stupid sob story to make her look like a jackass. Well, it wasn't going to work! Booze-bold on top of her regular soldier-bold, Cajun-bold, and raging bitch-bold, Fauve glowered at her brother's stupidly calm face as he sat all patient and shit - he'd always been like that, though. Mr. Sensitive when you just wanted him to scream back at you. It drove her and the rest of them nuts. She was again caught between hugging him 'til he popped and beating the ever living shit out of him.
Her voice quieted a little, a somber seething. "Well, Maw and Paw's dead, so now you know. Dad got drug apart by wolves, mom got bit an shot her damn self in the head, damn putain." Fauve dropped into a chair on the opposite side of the room, legs splayed lazily and shoulders slumped. She needed another drink is what she needed.
"So you got a job, reckon that means you're stickin' about, oui?" she asked, the fight slowly fizzling out of her.

Massaging his temple, he turned to look at his sister once again. "Yeah, I'll be sticking around until I find everyone else. I'm sure their alive. I just don't know where they are but I knew you were here. That's why I came here of all places, Fauve." Dom said as he sighed. He didn't think this was how fauve was going to welcome him when they saw each other again after two hundred years. But then couldn't blame her. She had all the reason to be mad at him for not even trying to come back sooner. Not that Dom could leave Germany that is.
"Oui, j'en ai besoin. Je dois le faire...*" he said vaguely. He always enjoyed doing so. Even when he was in Germany, he was still vague when it came to answering questions and and sharing anything about himself. It made him less of a magnet to gossip and the limelight. ††††Clothes:†††† Click Here‡‡‡‡Notes:‡‡‡‡ *Yes, I need to. I have to.¤¤¤¤Tagged:¤¤¤¤ Fauve Trudel
