There is something about the sunlight that makes everything just a bit more... Bright. The way things glow. The colors become brighter. It was a good thing the sun was shining, because otherwise I wouldn't be outside. There's not much I would do on a rainy day though I probably would just hide in my room with my ball of light, but since it was a nice, sunny day I was outside.
I love being outside. I love smelling the flowers and lying on the grass but since there was other people around I decided against that. Instead I decided to paint. I liked painting. Painting the sun was my favorite. I decided against that today and decided on painting the school itself. It was so interesting. I didn't think I could do it justice but I wanted to try. I brought out my canvas and painting supplies. Grabbed my favorite brush and got to work. I didn't have a grey color paint so I decided on a nice orange. "I think that doesn't look quite right..." I muttered aloud to myself. As I went on I could tell my painting looked more like the sun than the school so I decided to give up and make it the sun instead.

The wolf always took over more for a few days before and after the full moon. Ackley had been out most of the previous night, probably massacring innocent woodland creatures. He thought it best not to try to remember. His indigestion would remind him well enough, he was sure. Lately, the wolf had also discovered a perk to its strange, gangly limbs other than making it top-heavy and klutzy - he was actually half decent at climbing trees, so long as it was sturdy enough.
And that was how he'd found himself in wolf form, napping in the branches of an elderly elm tree in the school courtyard, rabbit guts in his fur and rabbit fur in his gut. As he woke, Ackley looked down to see a girl sitting beneath the tree. He couldn't recognize her from the top of her head, but he did recognize her painting style. She was in his art class.
The wolf dropped out of the tree and onto the grass, landing on his feet with a soft noise. He shook briefly to wake himself up, get the cricks out of his joints from sleeping in a tree all night. And then Ackley shifted back to human, finding himself in the same clothes from the day before, a smudge of blood and mud one one cheek, and some very questionable gook in his hair. He rubbed at his face with the back of his hand, managing to smear the mess some more.
"Th-that's, um, I-I like it," he told her, softly, walking over cautiously. He didn't want to freak her out or anything. "I-I'm, um, i-it's fine if you don't, um. I just, I mean w-we're in the same a-art class is all."

I had just finished my beautiful picture of the orange blob, that was supposed to be the school. When i heard someone come up behind me and complement my work. You're not going to freak. You're not going to hide and freak out, I told my self taking deep breaths in. Without turning to the voice, I said, "Thanks, I think it looks like a blob but I guess it's kinda pretty." When I turned around to see my new found friend... I saw a creepy swamp monster. I squealed running behind the tree. "D-don't eat me..." I squeaked which I knew was silly. I knew in the back of my mind that he probably wouldn't but you can never be too safe.
