Fauve is one of seven children, all of French descent and raised in New Orleans. Their parents, Oriel and Arlette, were both water faeries. The children were all born between 1717 and 1727.
The war started around the same time the oldest boys came of age, so we know that the three oldest went off to war before Fauve did. During the war, she lost touch with all of them except one brother, who she fought with for just a few years. Their parents were slaughtered by a pack of werewolves, and she doesn't know the fate or whereabouts of any of her siblings right now.
They grew up speaking a mix of French, Spanish, English, and creoles in between, but over time, the other kids' English might have regularized a bit more than Fauve. Still, all of them should have a little bit of that Southern character to their speech.
Because it's unknown who has survived and who hasn't, it doesn't matter much who you pick! But if you'd like to resurrect one of these fine faeries and bring them to Northvale, let me know! I might be a tad picky, so I'll want to give the go-ahead on the app before you get the character fo' real-fo' real.

Charnell Trudel
Charnell is the oldest, and therefore had to be the responsible one when they were growing up. She helped their mother raise Fauve and the boys, which was a difficult undertaking. She stayed home when the war started, respecting her parents' opinion that a battlefield was no place for a young lady. No one knows if she was with their parents when they were attacked, if she lived, or where she might have gone if she did.

Oriel is the eldest son and named after his father. He was always given the most attention from their father, and is a natural leader. No matter how often his brotherly instincts had him picking on his younger siblings, they idolized him anyway, and would do just about anything he told them to. He was an ally of Charnell, because he was just about the only one that could get them to calm down. He left as soon as the war started with Grenier and Bijoux.

When they were kids, Grenier knew everything about everybody. He was a serial eavesdropper and snoop around the house, and always had the gossip on the neighbors. Even without poking around, he was a soul faerie he had a way of figuring out what was going on with people just by looking at them. It drove his siblings crazy, but when they had a problem, they went to Grenier first. He left when the war started with Oriel and Bijoux.

Bijoux Trudel
Bijoux and Fauve were best friends when they were young. He was the one that stuck up for her and covered for her when she got found out doing unladylike things. He's a fiercely loyal person and reduced more than a few bullies to tears just by scolding them. He was the most affectionate of the brothers, never afraid to show how much he cared about his family. He left at the start of the war with Oriel and Grenier.

Laurent and Leverette are fraternal twins and the youngest of the siblings. They were inseparable as children and often the most mischievous of the bunch. Though they both have very similar personalities, Laurent is the more physical and rowdy of the two. Though the details are unknown, it is presumed they entered the war once old enough, after Fauve had already gone. They would have tried to stay together no matter what.
