Andrew decided that it was time for a walk. Being cooped up in the dorms was just a little too much for him; he was starting to feel suffocated inside. He had a bit of time to himself, so his thoughts automatically were turning to Carter. He needed to find his friend, and he was wasting so much time at this school. As it was, he wasn't learning to control his powers nearly as fast as he was expecting to, and it was stressful. Mind you, part of that had to do with the fact that he ditched at least a quarter of his classes. But anyways, it was frustrating. Not to mention, he was skipping now, and the teachers were beginning to find his hiding places, so getting out of the school was probably for the best. He moved without thinking, not having any particular destination. The streets were vast and open, and the sunset was dazzling. He was more concerned with watching the sky than where he was actually going. It was fun to look at the painted colors, to try to name them all. Fuchsia. Indigo. Violet. Raspberry. Ruby. As the sun sank lower, he figured he should turn around somewhere. It could be dangerous at night, and he needed to know how to get back. It was perfectly convenient, then, that he came across a picturesque little park. It had everything; swings, trees, benches. Just like from the movies. And at the moment, the latter was most desirable. Andrew hurried to sit down and relax. His legs were tired and his feet hurt, but he didn't notice until he sat down. He sighed as he took off his flip flops to rub his feet. “Really, I gotta pay more attention,” he muttered to himself.

[/i], ever gets lost.... And because of that, there was no reason to freak that he didn't know his way back to the dorms. That the sun was setting, and danger was probably lurking in the corner, waiting to pull him in and have a little taste of Fire-faerie blood. Nope. No reason to worry at all. He was dressed causal- well, at least in society term of casual- but if anything, this red hoodie sweatshirt was anything but. He wore a simple, white wife-beater, and his handy-dandy worn sneakers. Headphones on, which were large, bulky and old-school (just how he liked them), and drowned out the world with the upbeat singer and his love, Bruno Mars. He hummed under his breath, the tune of The Lazy Song, his eyes darting about. Was he nearing the park....? Oh... that's not good. If he remember distinctly, back when he glanced at that town map for a brief moment.... that was quite a walk from the dorms. Welp. He was here already- and beside, there bound to be some nice soul to help him in this time of need. As he thought about the possibility of also applying for a job (since up to now, he's been working on building his games and half-heartily, working on school), the brunette spotted a blond. He didn't look threatening... actually, a bit on the small side if anyone asked him. "Yo! Excuse me~!" Not to mention, the boy was cute- but that thought was pushed back, since there was always the possibility of the guy being.. well snooty. "Uh... I sorta got a question..." He jogged up to the blond, with an affable smile and slipping off his headphones, proudly resting around his neck. [/ul][/ul][/size]

Andrew's peace was politely disturbed by a voice from behind him. It wasn't one he knew: rather, he distinctly didn't recognize it. However, it wasn't saying anything rude, and it didn't sound rude, so he figured it would be okay to respond to it.
He craned his neck around to get a glimpse of whom he was speaking to. Rather than being turned off by the guy's appearance, it was quite the opposite. Dang. He must be part of the school... It hadn't taken him very long to figure out that everyone at Northvale Academy was...prettier. Had a star-like quality. Mind you, most of their personalities were horribly screwed-up, but at least they were easy on the eyes while they dissed your lack of familial heritage. Or whatever.
But back to the present. For all his good looks, the guy seemed harmless enough. And, considering the lost look on his face, maybe he was as new here as Andrew was. Or newer. “Sure. What's up? He smiled back, hoping to get off on a good foot. First impressions were pretty important.
