Mack was actually excited about hunting with Lupa and Ackley. He thought maybe it would be a bit weird since they were both wolves and Mack was a vampire, but that didn't mean he couldn't hunt with them and have fun. Mack was starved and he'd rather go feed than be tempted by Ackley. He didn't want to kill Ackley, that would probably be a bad thing. No... it would definitely be a bad thing. Very bad. Mack almost laughed to himself as he rode on Ackley's back into the forest, following Lupa. As they followed her, Mack leaned down and gave his werewolf boyfriend a kiss. He thought werewolf Ackley was just about the cutest thing in the world and couldn't wait to do what they had been planning on. Mack wondered where they were going to stop, because he was pretty hungry.

It didn't take long for Lupa to realize that she was now leading a hunting party consisting of a werewolf and vampire. Once she realized this, her mind blanked and she focused on nothing but finding food for her companions. She forgot the drama with Brent, her troubles with the pack and everything else. She allowed herself to get caught up in the thrill of the hunt.
Her body froze and she growled at Ackley to do the same. Lupa's tail was stiff and straight, showing she was in the process of hunting. Her nose twitched uncontrollably and her ears swiveled around her head, using her senses to find some prey. "You finding anything?" she asked the younger werewolf with nothing but simple gestures. There would be no unnecessary noise during a hunt.

Ackley wasn't used to carrying a passenger, but it was surprisingly easy. He sometimes forgot just how strong he was in wolf form. The wolf had fully taken over, eager for a hunt after going a while without. After eating some bad squirrel meat, he'd tried to give his poor digestive system a break.
When Lupa came to a stop, Ackley thought maybe she had scented something, but no, she was just trying to find the best path to food. Ackley tilted his head up, nose in the air, and gave a long sniff. He wasn't the best wolf, but his senses weren't half bad.
It was masked by the smell of the river, but there was definitely signs of life the way of the ravine. He nodded his head in that direction and headed off that way, taking the lead.

Mack thought that maybe he was the underdog in this situation. He forgot that the two of them could communicate with one another, yet Mack couldn't. That... wasn't very fun for him. He supposed it didn't matter. Ackley and him knew each other well enough if Ackley had to tell Mack something, Mack would understand. He thought. When Ackley took the lead, Mack looked back at Lupa, wondering slightly, but not really caring all too much. He didn't care where they went as long as there was something for him to sink his teeth into when they got there.
