[The Council]

THE PLOT

Charmed so that any human who has not taken the Oath of Secrecy forgets what they saw upon leaving the city, Northvale City is the only place in the world where supernatural races do not have to hide what they are.
In November 2010, after 273 years of a brutal war between sorcerers, werewolves, faeries and vampires- where countless died- the violence, bloodshed and killing came to an end. Over the next couple of years, members of each species gathered to discuss an official end to the war. A great Council was formed and in July 2012 finally, a peace treaty was signed.

In the following months, an old castle in Northvale City was renovated into the first school for the young of each species to mix, mold friendships and hopefully prevent the great war from ever happening again. Northvale Academy. An Earth faery by the name of Anya Gaia was appointed the role of Headmistress and a werewolf named Elizabeth Campbell was given the position of the school’s Governess.
But, though the war was over, the fighting had not completely stopped. Within the school the vast differences between each species caused arguments. No one associated with other species and the fights continued to grow more and more violent.
So, a system called "The Games" was invented, put under the watchful eye of vampire, Willow Porter, the Head Gamemaker. 15 students, 3 from each race, were randomly selected and thrown into an arena to fight for their lives. However, after the first set of these Games in late 2012, it was discovered that, instead of The Games bringing the races together...it only pushed them further apart. Mistakes were made and a volcano's eruption nearly killed 15 innocent teenagers. This was deemed unnecessary by each of the race's councils, and thus, The Games were over before they'd even begun.
However, they still believe that each and every student should learn to warm to the other races. And, so, they use the Games as a threat. If there is any major interracial violence, then the Games shall return. Only, this time, they shall be intensified. Instead having to fight for their lives...they will have to fight each other, to the death, until one lone victor remains.

In early 2013 Anya Gaia and Elizabeth Campbell left Northvale Academy. Willow Porter was given the position of Headmistress, a vampire by the name of Themis Sicarus was appointed as new Governess and a powerful sorcerer, Liam Redferne, was promoted to the position of Deputy Headmaster.
After a lengthy discussion between members of the Council, the school began to officially allow human, siren and boreai students.

Now, a few of the world's largest and most powerful clans, covens, packs and families have settled down in Northvale and despite there being some bad blood between some, all seems fine, some may even say peaceful in the city of Northvale. But there's something stirring in the darkness. Bubbling beneath the surface, threatening to erupt.

The question is, will the peace remain? Or will the foundations of the peace treaty be shook? Threatening to break the treaty and bring back the war that once savaged the supernatural world.
