A third wasn't enough, Mona knew that. But it was an alright start, she supposed. It wasn't as if this was their final number anyway, there was still a lot of work to be done to increase it. It would get higher; they would get more of the pack to assist, Mona was sure of it. She hoped that it wouldn't reach the stage where she'd have to kill some people but, if that was what it took, then she would do for Lupa. That was what her Alpha had instructed her to do, therefore it would have to be done if the situation called for it. "I will."

Lupa smiled as she received the answer she wanted and almost immediately relaxed. There wasn't really anything else she wanted to discuss with her cousin so her less serious side started taking its effect. Not by much but at least she was relaxing. Her blue eyes took in her surroundings; looking at the water, the overlapping waves and the area that surrounded it. Instinctively, her mind was quietly making escape routes and possible hide outs as far as she could see. Lupa Trancy was rarely ever taken fully off guard.

"Anyway, I don't have much else to say so I s'pose idle chatter is a good thing to do right now. Unless you have any further questions?" Lupa broke the silence with a lighter tone in her voice, even raising it to show that it was nothing but a casual conversation. "So, how are you dear cousin?"

Mona was grateful to steer away from the more serious topic of conversation. Lately, she almost felt as if she'd been too focused on all of this horrid business but she needed to be, it wasn't really a problem. "Nope, I don't have any questions." the woman smiled.

"I'm well, as ever, thank you. And yourself?" Mona replied, curious to hear how and what Lupa had been up to while she'd been away from the rest of the pack. She hadn't missed an awful lot, thankfully.

How was she, really? Did Lupa even know? The answer was confusing as it wasn't yes but nor was it no. She should be the happiest werewolf in the world, right? She had a wonderful boyfriend and she was planning on claiming the Trancy throne in a few months. She had friends and she was accepted yet there was a hole in her heart that no one could ever fill. Not the title of Alpha, not her friends, not even Jimmy could get rid of that empty feeling. Lupa needed to accept that or lock it away. Either way, it would affect her and the people around her.

"Tired, I guess." she muttered softly, her eyes drooping as she spoke. "School is tiring but it's tolerable. Nothing too special is happening besides the fact that Jimmy and I are moving in together..." A small smile crossed her lips at the thought of her pup. She hadn't informed him of her rebellion and she didn't want to. "Haven't found a place yet though. Otherwise, nothing much is happening."

Mona wasn't surprised by Lupa's answer. The young werewolf did look tired, like she said that she was. Considering what she was going through at the moment, not only with the whole pack business but with actually getting on with other aspects of her life too, how could anyone be shocked by that? She'd heard a bit about Jimmy before and he seemed like an okay guy. Mona knew that she could trust someone that Lupa was this close to. She'd always go along with her cousin's judgement.

"Ah." she nodded, "That's nice, I'm happy for the two of you."

"Hm... Thank you Mona." Lupa appreciated her cousin's approval of her boyfriend. After all, if they were planning on being in each other's lives for quite awhile (and trust me, they were) and Lupa was planning to be alpha, that meant Jimmy would have to be the alpha alongside her. He didn't necessarily have to be as active in the role as the actually Trancy wolf would do that but he would still have roles to fulfill as an alpha.

Suddenly, the dirty blonde remembered something. Something pretty important. "Oh yes, Mona. I've heard that Uncle Alois will be coming to town soon. I do believe we can trust him but I want to confront him about this personally. If you do meet him before me just tell him that I need to talk to him."

The werewolf gave her Alpha a smile, one that she hoped conveyed the 'there's no need to thank me' message that she was trying to get across. She wasn't doing anything more than stating the obvious in the first place but it was nice to be around as someone as polite as her cousin for once. Many people didn't seem to understand neither what manners were or the purpose of them.

Alois did seem trustworthy, he was a wise, old wolf and Mona had a pretty good idea of what he'd think of all this. "Alright, I'll make sure that I do."

Uncle A was a wise, old wolf who had been through a lot. He made some pretty big mistakes and was the grandfather of one of the most infamous people in human history. Lupa trusted him and knew that he disliked her father. After all, the enemy of your enemy is your ally. Lupa was just learning how true that was. Even if there were werewolves who didn't respect her entirely they would also rather leave the pack than overthrow their current alpha.

A few more moments of silence passed before the future alpha decided she best be off. There was still school to worry about and Lupa wanted to curl up and go to sleep as soon as possible. "Well, I shall take my leave now Mona. I'll see you soon." With that, the younger wolf shifted and ran into the darkness, heading in the direction of a warm bed.
