The night started off at The Gateway. The young metamorpher definitely enjoyed partyin’, downing shots like they were water, teasing his friend, Pan, still for being boring and royally embarrassing her with hisawfulbeautiful dancing.
Pax was glad they were just hitting the party scene together- no trying to hook up with others- just two best friends having a real good time. God knew Pan needed it. Pax hadn’t been seeing her the whole time for the past few of months but he’d heard enough to know that she seemed less of the Pan he knew her as. And by less Pan, he meant less; reckless, fun and just, free. Yes, he teased her for having being ‘tamed’ by her Redferne boyfriend and in his view, if Pan was really honest with herself? She’d see his point. Then again, maybe in the end she did see his point? Because recently she ended up breaking up with the said boyfriend- who she had said she loved a number of times. It was probably a bit self-centred of Pax to think he’d have such an influence and effect on what his best friend decided to do with her life…but he did maybe feel a teeny bit bad for sticking his nose in her business and maybe making her second guess things. But…he just wanted the best for her.
Which was exactly why he knew he’d be damned and a god-awful friend if he didn’t take her out so she could just lose herself and live a little after all the shit that had been going on.
The young sorcerer steadied himself with the drinking at this stage- they still had a couple of places to hit so he’d have been completely screwed if he got bladdered too soon. Pax definitely got why The Gateway was a popular place for teens and had a really good vibe, which was probably why they stayed there for a good couple of hours before they left to check out the scene at Whispers.
Upon entering the nightclub the first thing Pax did was head to the bar to get drinks for the pair of them because he was an oh so lovely gent like that, yep. Then, the two of them spent hours just dancing, drinking and laughing, y’ know? The music wasn’t too bad, despite being dance floor music because it just…fit? Plus, the more he drank, the less he really cared about the club’s music.
The teen was actually having a decent time until some random geezer bumped into him. Now, usually it wouldn’t be a big deal for Pax but the wanker turned around and tried to make out that it was Pax’s fault which really wasn’t fucking on. Pax was a reasonable fella really and he did try to settle it calmly but the prick who bumped into him was clearly fucking retarded and that fact plus being wasted? Well, he definitely wasn’t being reasonable. Shouting his mouth off and trying to start shit and telling Pax to ‘fucking apologize’ for something that wasn’t even his doing. If that alone hadn’t angered the young metamorpher off (which it did), the prick then pushed him. Actually pushed him.
Pax himself wasn’t exactly sober which is probably why he didn’t consider what race he was and any possible consequences, but really? Pax was too pissed to care and yes, he guessed he did get a tad bit aggressive- the words that fell from his mouth in response to the twat really weren’t something he was particularly proud of. Apparently, the geezer wasn’t any ‘big-shot’ race because when Pax shoved the guy back- twice as hard- he caused the guy to stumble backwards, trip over and smack his head on the ground. Of which Pax would swear to god wasn’t even entirely his fault- the guy was so out of it he could barely stand without toppling over anyway.
But that just so happened to be the moment Whispers’ bouncer came on scene. Perfect fucking timing, right? Clearly he jumped to conclusions and again, Pax tried to be reasonable but the bouncer was only going by what he saw and took Pax’s ‘back chat’ as a rude and that Pax was ‘displaying an aggressive’ attitude so, he was asked to leave. Fucking prick. Aggressive attitude? Aggressive attitude?! Where the fuck was he when the wanker on the ground started on him? Seriously.
Despite being pissed, Pax cooperated with the bouncer because you know what? Whispers wasn’t an all great place anyway and what just happened completely and utterly killed the vibe for him. Like, how could you have a good time after something like that?
The one thing the teen was slightly concerned about however was the fact that he didn’t want to ruin it for his best friend. So, with the bouncer trying to get Pax to leave, he told Pan that she should stay if she really wanted to and they could meet later at The Vortex. The sorceress was definitely a lady that could handle herself so he didn’t really worry too much over the idea of leaving her in the joint. Though he had hoped however, that’d she’d choose to leave with him because yeah, too much of a bad vibe ‘round this joint and well, The Vortex was a much better place anyway.
His reckless friend in the end had decided to leave with him as he was being ushered out by the bouncer- of which Pax assured that if he fucking touch him he’d curse the shit out of him (even though, he wasn’t the most experienced with curses).
When they left Whispers, they hit The Vortex. Now talk about gooooood vibes. The Vortex compared to the previous two places? It was electric. Pax had been here a couple of times since he arrived in Northvale and it was pretty safe to say that it was probably his favourite place, alongside The Four Horsemen pub- of which he now worked at.
He was getting pretty seriously wankered by the stage that Pan had got up on the bar- joining the barmaids and doing some like…seriously hot under the collar dancing with a really hot pink-haired barmaid. Even Pax had to admit it.
After the whole dancing erotically on the bar, Pan was actually approached by the bar manager offering her a job. Pax didn’t really catch what was said and what happened completely, but he still took the piss out of her a little- in a completely loving way, of course.
It was pretty late or, well, early when the two teens had left The Vortex due to the fact the scene was starting to die a little and as he was walking down the main street of Northvale City, he was in a pretty damn good mood despite what happened earlier.
He was in such a good mood, that, whilst walking backwards so that he could face Pan- he gave he a cheesy grin “Let’s go crazy, crazy, crazy ‘till we see the sun, I know we’ve only met but let’s pretend it’s love-” Pax sang closed his eyes and over-dramatically put a fist over his chest, in a corny, sappy boyband member way.
“And never, never, never stop for anyone.” Pax chuckled lightly, then peeked open his eyes. Was he embarrassed to sing the One Direction song? Yes. Maybe. Kinda. No. He wasn't one hundred percent sure. Like, they weren't that bad, y'know? Their songs were catchy ok.
“Tonight let’s get some and live while we’re- oh shit” He stumbled backwards as his feet went off a curb, causing his heart to have a little freak out as he caught himself and somehow managed to regain his balance.
“No gonna lie. I think I just had a mini-heart attack there.” The sorcerer put his hand over his chest for a moment then, feeling his rapid heartbeat against the palm of his hand. Though, even though he was pretty traumatized, he supposed his reaction was probably priceless.
Originally, Pax was pretty sure the pan was to go back home but at the moment, he looked around properly and where they were and there- a little up the street- was The Four Horsemen. “You ever been to The Four Horsemen before?” The metamorpher asked with a nod in the direction towards the pub.
“I recently got a job there and my mum knows the owner or some shit…fancy checkin’ if it’s still open?”
