He'd accidentally on purpose gotten Chase to laugh, which was a good thing. That hadn't been a joke though, Brent really was going to burn that motherfucker as soon as he got the chance. Perhaps not just his face. But, no, he wasn't going to carried away by his desire to set Mr Jackson on fire now.

...Beat him? Again, Brent was at a loss for words. He didn't understand how someone could treat their child in such a way, especially since he'd always been spoilt when he was younger. Which he never appreciated, not even now. He was alarmed further when Chase took off his shirt which had, at first, confused him completely. The scars on the fae's body weren't exactly hard to miss, by any means. "I... Ch-Chase..." Brent voice cracked and he almost hit himself because he was not meant to turn into a sentimental mess. Ever. And now he had in front of a student. At least Chase was kind of different from the others.

"I'll fuckin' knock him off a cliff with my badass tail." Brent not entirely joked as he pulled Chase in for a hug, not giving him a choice in the matter.

Chase wasn't expecting Brent to say anything. He didn't know if anyone would be able to say anything after what he told him. He knew he wouldn't be able to say anything about it after someone told him that. So... he didn't expect it. But when Brent hugged him, he didn't hesitate in hugging him back. He let the tears fall again as he buried his head into Brent.

He wanted to laugh at the tail comment. He really did. But the context for which it happened just wasn't funny and Chase knew that. "P-please do." Chase mumbled as he held onto Brent as tight as he could. Not wanting to let go ever.

Part of Brent was throwing a fit because that boy is still using your bloody expensive shirt as a handkerchief and the best he could do was ignore it because, hello, he'd been the one who'd approached Chase and had hugged him. And he'd been the one with expensive tastes who went around buying all the highly-priced clothes which he should really sell some of now because he was so strapped for cash. But... he couldn't. They were like his babies.

"I will, you'll see." Brent didn't let go of Chase, despite what his inner stuck-up, hypocritical OCD monster was saying.

Chase had to admit that he was surprised Brent was being so nice. Even though he could feel that he was a kind soul. They really didn't know each other and he shouldn't care so much. But he did, and Chase didn't think he could ever thank him enough.

Deciding he shouldn't rely on the Brent hug too much, Chase pulled back and looked at Brent. "You don't know h-how much this means to me. Really. N-no one has ever taken the t-time to c-care." Chase admitted in a small voice. Not able to make it anything more.

Brent heart was just going to melt everywhere if Chase carried on like this, it wasn't fair. It shouldn't be allowed. "They should have though. They really should have."

Should they of? Chase wasn't sure he deserved the attention or the care. Maybe he really deserved the life he got. He always thought that. It was why he cut for most of his life. Why he didn't want to tell anyone. Why he went to his drums because he didn't know what else he could do.

Then, Chase probably did something so stupid that he would regret it later. He couldn't stop himself. No one had ever shown interest in him before. So now that they were close together... that they were inches apart. Chase couldn't help but lean forward and kiss Brent. Trying not to think of the fact he was a teacher and Chase was only a student.

The hybrid, typically, was caught off guard when Chase kissed him. He didn't move for a short moment, his mind trying to process what exactly was going on and whether or not it shouldn't be happening. That was what he couldn't decide on. Because he wasn't bothered with kissing Chase, in fact, he thought that maybe he wanted to. That still didn't excuse the fact that Chase was a student and he was a teacher though.

Brent pulled back before he changed his mind again, breaking the short kiss and ignoring the hammering in his chest. "Ch-Chase..." he shook his head, looking almost apologetic.

Yeah. Chase didn't really think the whole kiss through and it was just a horrible idea that Chase didn't think through. Brent was a teacher. Chase was a student. It was a horrible idea that Chase got rejected from and should just... give up on life. Why he thought Brent would have liked him anymore than just a friend or something was stupid. Brent probably didn't like him at all. He was probably just being nice. Chase's eyes were huge as he backed away from Brent and stood up. Grabbing his shirt and opening the door. Barely getting out a "S-sorry" before running back to his dorm.
