Kit let out a loud sigh of defeat. He doubted that he would win against Caleb and his puppyness that Kit struggled with saying no to after a while. "Gah, I'll spare you some of my comfies then." he gave in, frowning over at his friend. That was the closest to a glare as you got with Kit, which was a bit sad. Gosh, he'd just give his precious comfies away to everyone then! "Nelly might get grumpy with you for stealing some of my comfies though, I'm warning you." he nodded, looking almost comically serious.

Aha! Victory was mine, like I knew it would be. I never lost an argument, mainly because 1) I only argued if I was sure I was right and 2) I was always right anyway, so that wasn't an issue. But still, I won! Even though I knew I would n the first place, it was still nice to know. Wonderful, actually. The best thing ever. Even though a lot of things were the best thing ever, they all shared that position proudly in my mind. It was honestly a good thing, anyway, so it didn't matter how many things shared that place in my heart.
"Yaaaaay!" I exclaimed, burying my face in Kit's upper arm affectionately. "Love yoooou, Kitty~" The nickname was corny, and so was the sentiment, but that wasn't to say I didn't mean it. I did love Kit. Even if there was just a little bias there for sharing his comfies with me now, I'd have loved him anyway. But, shhhh, don't tell him that. It'll get me into trouble. At least, I'm pretty sure it will.
And, no. Again, Kit was wrong. Nelly was nice, she would never be grumpy with me. We were friends, there was no way that would ever happen. It just couldn't. Nelly liked me too much. "Nooo because Nelly likes me," I said, grinning. "She won't mind me sharing, surely." If she would have, then I would have felt badly betrayed. Because... reasons. I liked Nelly, and thought she was my friend. It would be horrible if I was proven wrong.

Caleb wasn't actually irritating the sorcerer, this was just Kit being Kit and of course he thought comfies were a rather serious matter. However, he wasn't able to stop himself from smiling when Caleb buried his face in his arm. "I love you too, comfies-stealer." Kit smirked, ruffling his friend's hair.
Too much arguing wasn't very nice, he knew that. Besides, Kit wasn't a very stubborn guy... he really did give in far too easily, especially when his friends were concerned. Well, this wasn't really an argument but it was a mini one that had just been born. stemming from the previous squabble over Kit's comfies. "Fine. You're definitely right, Libster." he nodded, although there was a hint of sarcasm in his voice.

Some things were very easy to steal. Like, a chocolate bar or a Pokémon game. Things that were small, that could be hidden easily. Even things a little bigger than those could be stolen with a relative amount of simplicity. It was just picking and choosing the right time, and the right way to go about doing so. However, it was fairly obvious when someone was stealing something like a comfy. It was quite hard to steal it without the owner of the comfy being aware. Especially now, seeing as my face was literally burrowed into Kit's arm. So how I was a "comfies-stealer", I didn't know.
When I felt my hair being ruffled, accompanied by that quip, I made a sort of unimpressed noise and sorted out my hair again, momentarily moving my face so that I could see what I was dong. Well, not see, but yeah. Have a fairly accurate guess at it. "Noooo, I'm not a comfies stealer." I whined, flicking my brown fringe out of my eyes. "You could have just pushed me away, but you're letting me have your comfies. So I'm not technically stealing themmm." I grinned at the sorcerer, and nodded triumphanty. I wasn't stealing because that was mean. And I didn't do mean things, Well. Often. Sometimes, being mean was necessary.
Well, how long had it taken him to realize that I was right? Forever. It was quite adorable, actually, enough to make me feel a little bit sorry for him. I chose to ignore the hint of sarcasm in his voice, of course. He was being truthful, not sarcastic. If he was being sarcastic, then I would have been sad. As I put my face in the same place it'd been before, I laughed at my friend, with a little fond shake of my head. "Took you long enough," I snickered, my voice muffles by the material of Kit's frankly awful jumper. I liked that about Kit, though. His awfu jumpers. It was funny to me. "This is why I'm always right and not you."

Kit failed to hide his snicker when Caleb had to fix his hair. Well, he didn't have to fix his hair, technically, but it was Caleb so... of course he did. The sorcerer was sure that his own hair was far more problematic though; it was the curse of curls... sort of curls. He had seen a lot worse, to be fair.
Oh, right, yes. Someone was certainly being a little slow today, mentioning no names, Kit. "Shush. I'm too nice to deprive you of my comfies because they are rather excellent, if I may say so myself." he nodded. Really, Kit feared that he was possibly just digging himself a deeper hole here but didn't dwell on it because, in the long run, the consequences couldn't be that bad.
Now that he'd said that, Kit had no choice but to let his friend carry on stealing his comfies. Truthfully, he didn't mind all that much anyway. He still had to disagree with Caleb though. "Nope. I think this has been like... the first or second time you've ever been right?" he grinned. Kit was always right. Caleb was always wrong. That was how it worked within their friendship, Kit had just decided. He refused to accept anything else as anything more than a lie.

I was not vain. In any way, shape or form. In fact, I was just the opposite. But, and you actually have to admit this, hair is not a pleasant thing to have in your face. It leaves you almost completely blind, and it just... doesn't feel nice anyway. No, actually, if we're making this... scientifically correct (ugh, I already hate where this is going), hair and nails are made out of the same stuff; a substance called keratin. Nails are horrible, and practically useless anyway. They don't feel right. The same goes for hair, really.
So when I heard Kit snicker, I couldn't help but whine. That wasn't fair, no, not in the slightest. He wouldn't have been laughing had it been his hair tat was so cruelly left in his face. So, wit a mischievous smirk on my face and a tiny snicker escaping my lips, I reached up and ruffled his hair in retaliation. It was only fair. I wasn't being laughed at, especially not when I could be laughing at someone else for the very same reason. As long as it was fair, then hell yes. I would be doing it, without question.
Well. Kit's comfies were excellent... but come on. There was such a thing as humility, too. I groaned loudly at him, shaking my head. No. That sounded really bad. I looked up at him, disappointed, although I was still laughing at him lightly. "...Blow-your-own-trumpet-dot-com." I muttered, shoving my face into Kit's jumper to hide tat I was really giggling at him. I was supposed to be cross, not laughing at him! It wasn't funny, it was mean. Somehow. I would figure it out, I knew I would.
Nooo. Nonononono. Now was just another one of those times that either A) Kit was lying, or B) he was just being incredibly obnoxious. And, more importantly, wrong. That was it, really. My money was on the latter because, well, I was always right. It was actually inarguable. Big word, that. I was proud of myself for a moment for thinking that up. But no. Not important right now. "Liarrr." I whinged. "You know I'm always right, you're just in denial." Denial was bad I would help him through it. Because, well... he needed to see that I wasn't stupid, that I was always right.

Kit made a spluttery noise of protest when his hair was ruffled which was not fair because his hair was much more difficult to unruffle than Caleb's. He half-heartedly flicked it out of his eyes but otherwise didn't bother with fixing it. He wasn't vain like some people. "That was uncalled for!" Kit prodded Caleb's nose in a sort of not really angry manner. Angry people didn't prod the source of their anger on the nose but this was Kit and he'd always failed at doing the normal thing. It wasn't as if he was even angry in the first place, just very mildly annoyed.
The sorcerer 'nyeeeh'd at his friend. He couldn't take Caleb seriously - who could? Although there was a look of disappointment on the werewolf's face, it was contradicted by his laughter and was now giggling into Kit's jumper. Caleb was ridiculous but Kit thought that he was kind of ridiculous too because he was the kind soul who hung around with him and had to put up with things like pulling him out of fridges. Kit liked it. It beat doing normal people things like... drugs and homework. Because every normal person definitely did them. Or perhaps he'd have to update his mental definition of normal to 'Anyone that isn't me or my friends.' That sounded more accurate.
"I'm not in denial or a liar because you, dear Libby, are in denial and I am denialless." Kit nodded confidently. Denial, what was that again? He didn't think he'd ever experienced that before and definitely wasn't at this moment. That just proved his point that Caleb was a denialful liar.

It was. It was called for. That was just Kit being hypocritical, at which I tutted, whilst holding back laughter. It was completely called for. You mess my hair, I'll mess yours. It's as simple as that. And Kit, having been my friend for however long it was now (I'd lost track), should have known that. I wasn't exactly just going to not do it, was I? It was right there in front of me. So, guess what. I did. I wasn't sorry, either, It was fun. I wasn't going to apologise for something I found fun, because, well... it was fun. What other reasoning did I need?
"T'waaaasn't~" I practically sang, laughing when my nose was prodded. I poked him back, equally as hard, just because I could. I didn't need reasons, because reasons took the fun out of everything. And everything needed a bit of fun, a bit of color. It was just much brighter, much more pleasant that way. "If you're gonna mess with my hair, then I'll mess with yours. S' only fair." But then, no one said fairness came into anything. ... Oh well. That wasn't exactly important.
I was pretty sure that he knew I was laughing, really. Even though I was supposed to be angry, I really wasn't. Even if it was a little egotistical and the like. It was just funny. And that wasn't just me finding almost everything funny, like I always did. No, that was me finding this genuinely funny. But then, if I though everything was amusing, how could I tell when I wasn't just laughing for the sake of it? ... No. Nuh-uh. That was too much for me to work out just about now, when my brain was still scrambled from being pulled out of a fridge. I'd just about lost the ability to think properly, so I wasn't going down that route now.
Denialless. Nope. There was no way, because Kit was just never right! I refused to believe that, because I only argued about things I was 1098434876 percent sure about. And I knew that I was right here, whether the wizard liked it or not. I pouted up at him, frowning the smallest bit, even though there was a grin on my face. "Denialless isn't even a word, you poo." I chimed merrily, knowing that now, I was definitely right. "So you're noooot."
