Their movement was restricted by his belt.

His stomach was tied up in knots, and he sort of felt like running out of the room even as he handed himself over like this. What in the hell was he doing? Making things right, he told himself. He was making up for being so awful. He didn't deserve someone like Mack. He had to do something to make this all okay. And this was all he could think of.
