This is where you'll find all the information on the races at Northvale and their powers and abilities. You should really read this before deciding on your character as not every race fits the stereotype.

This is where you come and claim all sorts of things for your characters! Whether it's play-bys, house, dorm, stats, teacher etc. You can claim it all here!

Once your character has been accepted, they will be moved here and into the relevant sub-board depending on their race.

Here you can find our canon lists- including our canon groups of which will play an important role in a plot planned for NVA in the near future.

Here's where you come to get to know your fellow members better! You can introduce yourself, and talk about anything you want to in this board.

So, you want interesting plots for your characters? Then post a plot page here - this is where you can figure out what'll happen in your characters' lives.

Do you have too many threads? Are you losing track? Fear not! Set up a tracker here, so that you always know what threads you're in.

Does your character have something in their past that needs explaining in further detail than it is in the app? Then this is where you come. Here, you can thread things that have happened in the past.

As NVA is a real-time RPG we might never get to roleplay our characters in ten, twenty or more years. So. This is the board for all those future events you've always wanted to roleplay.

We often talk about what would happen if our characters were in an alternate universe, right? Well, here, you can thread out some things that would never happen in this dimension, and take it over to the next!

Nearly everyone has a phone. So here, you can create a page for your character's phone. This is also where text messages and voicemails are sent. However, please bear in mind that NVA is set in England, so the phone numbers used should be English.

Whether it be Facebook, Twitter, or anything else - most people have a form of social networking. Here, you can make your character's social network pages.

Does your character have a diary or journal? Then you can post their entries here, pouring out emotions or just noting the events of the day. Please bear in mind, though, that just because you've read a character's diary doesn't mean your character has.

If you're character has a penpal or relative in a different place, you can use this board to have your character write them a letter.

This is the place where students can post notes about upcoming events, announcements, and occasionally gossip. Some notes can be anonymous, so it's guest-friendly.

If you're lucky enough to own a car, then this is where you keep it while you're at the school. Some students come here for impromptu parties, where the music's blasted through the car stereos.

The Courtyard is beautiful, surrounded by all sides of the school. It is a popular hangout for students. In the middle, pride of place, is a memorial statue with the names of those who valiantly served during the wars and lost their lives during it.

This is where the students who don't like the busy cafeteria come to eat. It's quite pretty; you can see Northvale Forest from here. For this reason, this area is popular with the school's artists.

The gardens are absolutely stunning, pruned to perfection by the groundskeeper. Students can walk through if they want some privacy, but pick the roses for your sweetheart and someone won't be happy.

The track is hidden behind trees to keep the school looking pretty, but the track is widely used. It's not just used for P.E. lessons, either; it's used for fun. Vampires in particular enjoy racing one another at super speed here.

This grand hall is where all of the meals take place. The food is excellent, and there are several tables so that you can sit with your friends. Don't sit at the high table, though. That's where the staff sit.

This is where the school's food is prepared, and also where student's come if they're still hungry. Of course, the cooks are happy to oblige to the students' requests.

The library is huge. Books line the walls up to the ceiling. You can come here to revise, read for fun, or even learn a new language from the foreign language section - all of your favourite books, just not in English.

When you're sick, or just faking, you can come here to get better. Or get sent back to your dorm, if need be. Of course, the matron will send you out if she finds out that you're just trying to cut class.

This is where the Sirens have their Supernatural Control classes, which are mainly comprised of Hunting Practise, Voice Control and Shift Control. Vanity Control was considered, but it was determined to be of little use to the students.

This is where the faeries and boreai come to learn how to control their specific element. It also teaches them new powers, and how to use them properly.

Sub-boards: Air Element Class, Earth Element Class, Fire Element Class, Soul Element Class, Water Element Class

This is where the sorceres come to learn how to use their magic more efficiently. Of course, several subjects are taught here, so the young wizards often spend more time here than in their generic classes.

Sub-boards: Charms Room, Transfiguration Room, Potions Room, Curses & Hexes Room

This is the class that helps young vampires to learn how to use their enhanced abilities properly. It also teaches them to control their bloodlust - meaning that the classroom has accquired the nickname "blood room".

This class is called "Wolf Control" because it helps thee young werewolves to control their inner wolf. However, almost everyone calls it "anger management class", as it helps students to control the raging anger that comes with their wolf.

This is where the the classrooms for ordinary subjects are located. Here, you'll find subjects like English, Maths, Science and others. Some students llike to skip these classes, even though detentions are still issued.

School productions are performed here. Of course, when it's not being used for this purpose, there's either an assembly or a drama lesson going on. None of the above? Congratulations, you've just found a nice, quiet place to yourself. Try not to do anything too stupid, though.

More often than not, there's a P.E. lesson going on here. But when there isn't, a lot of students like to come here to do sports for fun. There's facilities for badminton, football, basketball and any other sport you could think of!

This is NVA's dance hall, where the dance lessons are held. If there isn't a lesson or a club being held, though, you'll often find students practicing here. Either that, or checking themselves out in the mirrors on the walls.

The arts room is where all you artists, musicians, sculptors and more can come and practice the art you do. The place is often filled with the sound of music and artists humming along whilst they paint. Of course, art and music lessons are held here, so please try not to disturb anyone too much.

The teacher's lounge is slightly different from the student's. It has sofas, TVs and bookshelves much like the student's but it also has a small kitchenette. And rumour has it, the coffee is mixed with vodka.

Well, this area is never used anymore. Right? Wrong. It is in these classrooms that the students have made themselves a sort of casino. With several charms to disguise this place, if you know the password (I've heard it's vegas baby) you can enter and gamble to your heart's content.

This is where the humans that attend Northvale Academy stay. For obvious reasons, vampires and werewolves may not enter this tower unless given clearance by a teacher.

Sub-board: Human's Common Room

This is where the faeries and boreai, being two fairly similar races, stay. You aren't always dorming with those that share your element, so please don't be alarmed if you find a tree in your room. It's probably just an Earth Faerie.

Sirens occupy this part of the tower. Don't worry about the stories about Sirens leading men to their deaths, though. They're all just malicious rumors.

Sub-board: Siren's Common Room

Contrary to popular belief, the werewolves that live in this tower do not sleep in dog baskets. No, their beds are the same as everyone else's.

Sub-board: Werewolves Common Room

This tower was created to save confusion and time for mixed-race students. This is where their dorms and common room are located.

This is where you'll find the sorcerers that attend Northvale. Be careful, though. There's often a lot of magic practise happening here, so watch out for stray hexes.

Sub-board: Sorcerer's Common Room

The reason behind the name for this restaurant is unknown but the food is nice enough. It's a great place to come with your friends or even a date.

The bowling alley is popular among the students. Not only does it have fifteen lanes, but there's an arcade full of games and also a diner-style restaurant.

Possibly the country's best paintball park. It is equipped with high-tech paintball guns, the necessary protective body gear people have to wear and a large field full of walls, blocks and secret hiding places covered in camouflage mesh.
It's a guarantee that a game in this arena will have your blood pumping and heart racing and those that bruise easily? Well, they leave here covered in them but smiling nevertheless.
Now, what are you waiting for? 3, 2, 1 GOGOGO.

This is the home to Ashdown Records. A recording company owned and run by the Ashdown twins. You can drop off your demo tapes here if you're looking to be signed or book some recording time to put together your tracks - the latter doesn't come cheap though.

The cinema shows all the new films - especially any new supernatural flic (how fun is it to laugh at the stereotypes!). Come here with a group or friends or even a date; you're bound to have a laugh.

The new building is a hospital entirely for supernatural beings. With staff that are among the six races and supernatural methods used to treat patients, it is one of the best hospitals in the country.

Sub-boards: Accident & Emergency, Intensive Care Unit, Waiting Room, Staff Room

Once a military compound, this is now where NVA's seven law enforcers live, eat, sleep and train. It is their home. One should be careful hanging around these parts because they do not take trespassers very well.

Sub-boards: Communal Living Area, Training Facility, Artillery Room, The Kitchen , Markos' Room, Phineas' Room, Serena's Room, Kaisar's Room, Christos' Room, Aella's Room, Ianthe's Room, The Yard

The Academy caters for the ages 13+ but where do the children learn the basics? The first life skills? The differences between races and their powers? Northvale Elementary of course.

The animal shelter takes in all the waifs and strays around the city. So if you want a new companion, you can adopt one here. The dedicated staff care for the animals - whether they are birds, cats, dogs or maybe animals even larger. Getting them ready for a new home.

The Gateway isn't the only bar in the city, but it is the best. It's the main hangout for the students at the Academy. With a bar, several booths and tables to sit at and a large dancefloor to dance your troubles away - it's all you need. The band's pretty good too.

This small-ish quite quiet pub doesn't look like the most glamorous of places and as you walk in you're greeted by the strong smell of cigarette smoke. But, it's not too shabby really on the inside and it serves some of the best whiskey in town. To the right there's a pool table and at the back there's a good ol' fashioned jukebox that plays classic rock.
It has a slightly more 'chill' atmosphere and is used to it's regulars.

This is the local cocktail bar- more 'mature' than the other joints in the city of Northvale. It is often the place 'professional' adults go to for a few drinks and can chat in the garden whilst quieter music plays in the background.

This club is the place you can go if you just want to dance the night away. It's open until the early hours of the morning and serves drinks until 3am. There's a lot of rumors and whispers of the dodgy happenings and dealings in this place but it's not too bad most nights. However, best be careful because you don't want to get your drink spiked now, do you?

You can dull your senses here in The Vortex, lose yourself completely to the heavy metal soundtrack and drink until you can drink no more.
With the barmaids every other song dancing up on the bar in a damn near illegal way and the occasional mosh pit here and there, this place is definitely not for the fainthearted.

A popular haunt for vampires, the inn is open from sundown to sunrise. It is here that vampires can find themselves fresh blood from willing donors, for a fee of course. Not a vampire? Well, you could walk in, if you have a death wish.

The park is just like any other. Swings, slides and more occupy a small area, but there is a field for those who want to sit and do nothing.

The Cemetery is as old as Northvale City itself. Of course, with the wars it was used often but now the wars are over it isn't as busy. People still come to mourn here, however.

It is the streets that lead you to the different houses, to the main town and also back to the Academy. Teens going for a walk often end up just wandering down the roads here.

Is your character going on holiday or leaving Northvale? Well, chances are they might end up at the airport. Any posts out of the country will also be put here.

Sub-board: Out Of Northvale

The beach is around an hours drive away from Northvale but it doesn't stop teens from coming here on the weekends to just relax after a week of classes. Not to mention it's rather secluded so beach party anyone?

This old, run down farm is situated only around five minutes away from Northvale. With the overgrown fields and empty barns, teens often come down to be with the nature. Oh, and cause havoc, of course.
